2 NEAFL Intriguing battle with Brooksby in ruck. Had 36 hitouts and 12 touches. Honors about even.
3 NEAFL Got the better of the ruck duel to give Giants' midfielders a chance.
4 NEAFL Controlled the ruck, but midfielders weren't always able to make best use of the supply.
5 NEAFL Controlled the ruck, but midfielders werent able to capitalise a great deal. 34 hitouts.

7 NEAFL Good battle with Currie and Nicholls in the ruck. Honors even on the day,

1   Played in NEAFL trial against Sydney.  
2 NEAFL Injured right shoulder just before half time.

4 NEAFL 10 touches and 22 hit-outs in first game back after slight shoulder issue.

6 NEAFL Minimal impact outside of the ruck where he had 25 hitouts.

8 NEAFL Part of a triple-headed ruck monster that gave onballers first use of the ball.
9 NEAFL Shared time in ruck and was OK with 23 hit-outs and kicked a goal.
10 NEAFL Did well in the ruck contests (36 hit-outs), but again little impact around ground.
11 NEAFL Wasn’t as influential as he should be in ruck. Just paddling along at present.
12 NEAFL Solid without being spectacular in ruck with 22 hit-outs.

2 Bris Ruck work was great but didn’t do a whole lot around the ground. 4
3 Coll Had 20 hit-outs but offered little around ground. Intensity good though. 4
4 WCE Took two great contested marks and kept busy at ground level. 5
5 Haw No disposals first half but workrate good all day. Five hit-outs to advantage. 4

7 Rich Subbed out after a quiet day. Tried hard but didn’t impact the contest. 2
9 Frem Hammered by Sandilands and subbed out after giving very little. 1
10 NM Five hit-outs to advantage and plugged away. Must improve his marking. 4
11 Syd Scored Cats only goal first half but struggled. Has to impose himself more. 2

10 VFL Rucked fairly well but Mabon had a big impact late.
11 VFL Dominated the ruck against Skipper. Promising.
13 Syd Horrid. Only three effective hit outs and two handballs then subbed off. 1
14 VFL Controlled the ruck against Browne and Graham.
15 GCS Plays with no presence for man of his size. Not sure he’s the answer. 2
16 VFL Helped the Cats get their hands on the ball first.
21 VFL 36 hitouts opposed to Graham and Browne. OK.
23 VFL Shared the ruck duties with Stephenson. Was OK.
EF VFL Took a few good marks and rucked fairly well.
SF VFL Rotated through the ruck to give Geelong the upperhand.
