2014 Digest:   The former skipper battled hamstring issues throughout 2013 but remains a vital part of the line-up having moved to defence in the past two seasons. Had a good pre-season compared with last year and will be ready in Round 1.

2014 NAB Cup:   Solid start to what could be his final season. Doing everything expected of him.

1	StK	Led from the front as always. Almost very costly turnover at the end.	6

4	Coll	Ran with Swan at times but found it tough; 23 disposals, eight tackles.	5
5	Adel	Quiet game by the Port skipper with only 12 possessions.	4
6	Rich	Nullified Trent Cotchin and still found plenty of the footy.	7
7	Frem	Had 10 contested possessions among 20 disposals.	6
8	NM	Twice kicked out of bounds on the full with his non-preferred left foot.	6
9	GCS	Good contributor around the contests. Lead from the front.	7
10	Carl	Not one of the captain’s best games but never gives up trying.	5

12	WB	Had to go to Cooney who was getting away and that took him out of midfield.	5
17	Melb	Big start to the game and a constant force in the middle.	7
18	Frem	One of the few Port players who played well in the first half.	7
19	GWS	Matthew Primus lost his job, but Cassisi’s leadership was also left wanting.	3
20	Haw	Not a great 200th game to remember. Struggled to make a real impact.	4

22	Bris	Implored his teammates to get over the line but couldn’t drag them over it.	6
