1 Port Struggled to get his hands to leather. One round in and best guess is still a big gap between best and worst. 3
2 WB Struggled. Eight effective disposals not enough playing wing/half forward. 2
3 NEAFL Impacted the contest with 19 touches and two goals. Drove the ball inside-50 on eight occasions.
4 WCE Got Swans’ first major and worked hard in the forward half and applied good defensive pressure. 5
5 GWS Tackled hard but wasn’t a big factor in the game. 4
6 Carl Used as a rebounding defender and okay with 16 possessions but has played better games. Didn’t hurt Blues. 4
7 Bris Shoulder problem in first term but returned to boot two goals. Made a few poor choices streaming forward. 5
8 NM Worked hard as usual but was only a minor contributor. 3
9 StK Saints couldn’t stop him running hard through the middle in second term and setting up attacking moves. 6

EF Ess Late inclusion for Melican didn’t star but did enough to make it tough to tip him out; 19 disposals. 5
SF Geel Looked as unsure as a hungry baby in a topless bar and got no love at any stage. Touched it 10 times. 3

2016 Season

1 Coll Chipped in with two goals in rout. Handy contributor on the night. 5
2 Carl Floated in out and out and was a threat up forward and through the middle. 6
3 GWS Failed to hurt the Giants in attack with only three kicks. 3
4 Adel Bobbed up for first goal of the game, hardly sighted afterwards. 5
5 WCE Not a big game. Rolled ankle second term but kept going. 3
6 Bris Three score assist added value to his 13 disposals. 5
7 Ess Fought hard after a slow start and was clean with ball use. 3
8 Rich Tackled hard but unable to exert any real influence on the game with ball in hand. 4
9 Haw Solid citizen across four quarters. 6
10 NM Key goal at start of third term was one of just two kicks, but linked well at stages. 4
11 GCS Played a defensive forward role and did it well. 4

4 Frem Didn’t have a strong tagging job. Not a big impact either. 3
5 WB Sub. Replaced Towers Couldn’t find flow of game when he came on. 1
6 NEAFL 24 touches and 10 tackles in Swans’ midfield.
7 NEAFL Used in attack as well as midfield. 23 possessions.
8 Haw Sub. On final term but pace of game was tough to adjust to. 1
9 Carl Played a minor role alongside established stars. Four clearances. 5

11 NM Courageous mark and a goal a highlight of an industrious game. 7
13 Rich Made Houli honest at half forward but unable to capitalise on chances. 5
14 Port Sub. On early to replace Rohan and quiet until sealed game with late goal. 3
15 Bris Sub. Thrown in for final term but struggled. Might need run in NEAFL. 1
16 Haw Not the sub this week but didn’t take advantage of the opportunity. 3
17 WCE Powerless to impact the flow of the game despite grabbing a few touches. 4
18 Adel Strong performer and ran hard. 6
19 Geel Unable to get any touches that really hurt Cats. Two inside-50s, no goals. 4
20 Coll Handy though not outstanding. 5
21 GWS Dangerous in attack with three goals and was afforded too much space. 7
22 StK Picked up by Geary and did a few nice things in attack. 5
23 GCS Three goals a confidence boosting return on eve of finals. 7
QF Frem Five inside-50s and got involved a few times through middle of ground. 5
SF NM Battled hard but impact of touches well down. Five kicks tells a story. 3

2014 Season

1 GWS Better in first half than second. Did a bit. 4
2 Coll Kicked a goal from a Franklin assist and got free at times. 5
3 Adel Kicked three goals, including two in two minutes in the first term. 6
4 NM Held goalless for the first time this year in a quiet afternoon. 4
5 Frem A goalkicker this year, shifted into defence and handled it with aplomb. 5
6 Melb In and out of the game for one goal but will want consistency. 4
7 Bris Kicked a goal early on but overall fairly quiet compared to his teammates. 5
8 Haw Couldn’t get into the game at all from half forward and never a factor. 2
9 Ess Drifted out of the game after some eye-catching possessions early. 4
11 Geel Sub. Joined the party and hit double-figure possessions in quick time. 2
12 GCS Career-high four goals opposed to Kolodjashnij to be the game breaker. 7
13 Port Not as good as last week but did some handy things when required. 5
14 Rich Active and energetic worker all night in midfield. 6
15 GWS Off his usual game, failing to lay a tackle for the first time this season. 4
16 WCE Did a few nice things but was fairly quiet. 3
17 Carl Ran with Murphy at times as he tries to add another string to his bow. 5
18 Haw Low-key night at half forward. Collected heavily by Stratton in third term. 3
19 Ess Ran hard and tackled strongly. 6
20 Port Torched opposition with seven clearances and three quality goals. 7
21 StK Not prominent. 3
22 WB Linked well to get involved in scoring chains. Played a part. 5
23 Rich Marked by the in-form Houli at times, the young Swan finished well in front. 5
QF Frem Did a great job tagging Hill. Shut him out of the match. 7
PF NM Another who jumped out to play a role. Pace and poise a highlight. 6
GF Haw Horrible. Went to Hill in second half but couldn’t contain him. 2

2013 Season

1 NEAFL Mopped up well down back and launched a few attacks.
2 NEAFL Good game in the Swans midfield. Gave good run.
3 NEAFL Copped a heavy knock and was helped off.

10 NEAFL Rotated between the midfield and defence. Did well.
11 NEAFL Gave plenty of run and created the play through midfield.
12 NEAFL Bye.
13 NEAFL Gave good run all night from defence and through midfield.
14 NEAFL One of the few winners in big loss to Lions. Tackled hard.
15 NEAFL Rebounded and gave good run again.
16 NEAFL Ran hard all day to press his claims for a senior recall.
17 WCE Subbed on late in the game, had no impact. 5
18 Rich Sub was useful when he came on. 2
19 NEAFL Wasn’t able to break free as much as usual but kept trying.
20 NEAFL Battled hard and won his fair share of contested ball.
21 NEAFL A standout for the Swans and capped off game with two goals.

SF Carl Kicked first career goal in second term and ended with two. Gave something. 4

2012 Season

1 GWS Just four touches after being subbed on late in game on debut. 1
2 NEAFL Had some really clean touches that stood out.
4 NEAFL Good opening half until coming off as senior emergency.
5 NEAFL Worked hard up forward to keep the ball inside 50.
6 NEAFL OK but didn’t have the impact some of his teammates did.
7 NEAFL Good effort in the midfield. Used ball well.
10 NEAFL Competed well and provided great pressure.
11 NEAFL Impressive game capped with two goals.
13 NEAFL Worked hard in a midfield role. Good contributor.
14 NEAFL Influential early before being rested.
15 NEAFL Down a bit but had a few good touches.
17 NEAFL Burrowed in all day and was good in open space.
18 NEAFL Dangerous up forward, but talls were marking everything!
19 NEAFL Used his pace at times to break the game open.
20 NEAFL Did a few good things but the season is taking its toll.
