1 Coll Scrounged 25 possessions to go with seven tackles. Good game. 7
2 Syd Quiet one by his lofty standards. Only 20 touches and influence was well down on what he can produce. 5
3 Frem Worked hard and had 26 possessions. Also laid eight tackles. 7
4 NM One of many Dogs to find the footy early then found something. Six touches in final term were crucial. 6
5 Bris Workrate first class and was one of few Doggies to play effectively across the four quarters. One goal to go with 29 disposals. 8
6 GWS Back to ball winning best with 26 touches, eight tackles and three clearances. Second half not as string as first. 7
7 Rich Had five clearances and kept pushing the ball forward. 6
8 WCE One of the better players with 32 possessions including nine clearances. 8
9 Geel Hardly sighted first half then lifted to grab 12 disposals after half time. Only 13 effective touches and one inside-50. 5
10 StK Dexterity with the ball was able to penetrate regularly and he was effective across four quarters. 7

12 Syd Slow start, but worked into stride to be the Dogs best ball winner. Never stopped working. 7

16 Adel For an outside player wins his fair share of contested footy including seven clearances. 7
17 Carl Kept engine room wheels turning with team-high 31 disposals, five inside-50s, six tackles and eight marks. 8
18 GCS Continues to win the ball well in midfield and used it expertly. Good effort. 7
19 Ess Always racks up plenty of disposals and this no exception. Only missed target with two of his 25 total possessions. 8
20 Bris Showed his superb skills with a well-weighted pass in heavy traffic to Redpath on non-preferred left foot. Game high 32 disposals. 8
21 GWS Grabbed 12 disposals in first half but quiet after main break in what was an uncharacteristic effort; 21 disposals but half effective. 5
22 Port Brought his own footy in enormous first half (23 touches, seven clearances). Ended with 41 possessions. Dogs best. 9
23 Haw Busier than a rooster in a henhouse with another 33 disposals, five clearances and six inside-50s. 8

2016 Season

1 Frem Big ball winner on the outside but didn’t always make the right decision. Kicking was off early. 7
2 StK Got plenty of the ball on the outside and was a handy contributor. 6
3 Haw The accumulator has had better games but was still OK. 6
4 Carl Three clearances and usual productive disposal tally helped keep the pressure on the Blues. 7
5 Bris Linked well and won his own ball – 11 contested possessions. Steady without starring. 6
6 NM Stats were good but didn’t reflect influence. 5
7 Adel Got around the ball and found space. Four inside-50s and 11 contested possessions. 7
8 Melb Ability to find the ball and spread from the contest is second to none. When he gets it he uses it well. 8
9 GWS Worked hard both ways and got himself into the right positions. 6
10 Coll Kept ticking over all day and a positive element around the ground. 7
11 WCE Laid seven tackles to go with a mountain of possessions. Six clearances and three inside-50s. 7
12 Port Well held by Brad Ebert but still managed ten tackles to help his side in the middle. 6
13 Geel Probably Dogs’ best. Won plenty of ball and able to create when others failed. 7
15 Syd Steady game without being spectacular. 5

GF Syd Always running always creating and had a prolific match with 33 touches. 7

2015 Season

1 WCE Collected plenty of footy and used it well with many short options. 7
2 Rich Five clearances, four inside-50s and plenty of damaging touches. Strong effort. 7
3 Haw Slow start and kept within reasonable limits. 5
4 Adel Potent in midfield and got better as day wore on. 7
5 Syd Down on normal output in terms of possessions but did have five inside-50s. 6
6 StK Efficiency wasn’t where it normally is but was a handy contributor. 6
7 VFL Had 37 possessions, six tackles in good response to AFL axing.
8 VFL Had 31 touches and laid 10 tackles. Ready to return.
9 GWS Generated chances and a strong contributor. 6
10 Port Bulldogs’ best with nine clearances, eight tackles and six inside-50s. 8
12 Bris Big third quarter was important, and got better as game went on. 7
13 StK Quality midfielder in top form who always used ball to advantage. 8
14 Carl Plenty of ball in midfield and just found space when others couldn’t. 7

2014 Season

1 WCE Dogs’ best. Used footy well, kicked two goals and never stopped trying. 8
2 NM Genuine star in the making. Set up a lot of play. Snapped goal early in last quarter. 7
3 Rich Terrific ball-winner early with huge second term. 8
4 GWS Continued his outstanding start to the season. 13 marks to got with a heap of touches. 8
5 Carl Apart from simple miss in second term had a quality game. 7
6 Adel Instrumental early then faded a touch but was a handy player in late revival. 6
7 Ess Not as clean as he’s been with his disposal but had no trouble finding it. 6
8 Melb Only five disposals in first half but answered the bell to grab 10 late. 5
10 GCS Again won a lot of ball (25 disp) and tried to stand up in face of Suns onslaught. 7
11 Frem Lots of the ball. Not as damaging as in earlier weeks. 6
12 Bris Got plenty of the ball (35 disp) and was a strong contributor but lacked incisiveness. 7
13 Coll Found plenty of the ball and one kick to set up Bontempelli was all class. 7
14 Port Found plenty of the footy and distributed it well. 7
15 Melb Classy on the outside, especially in the heat of the final term. 6
16 Geel Why was he sub? Dominated when he finally got on in third term. 4
17 GCS 43 touches and two goals to be clearly best afield. Suns couldn’t stop him. 9
18 Ess Team-high disposals, nine inside-50s, a goal and three clearances. 7

20 StK Very slow start but finished game very strongly. 5

2013 Season

1 VFL Only a few touches but used the ball well.
2 VFL Bye.
3 VFL Another eye-catching display for the Seagulls on a wing.
4 Adel Made his AFL debut and didn’t disappoint, also kicked his first goal. 5
5 Geel Sub. On second half for eight touches. Will be better for the experience. 2
6 WCE Kicked a goal and wasn’t disgraced on Schofield. 5
7 VFL Bye.
8 GCS Did a really good defensive job on Matera and a positive for the Dogs. 6
9 StK Had the better of Newnes and provided some good link play. 5
10 Port Linked well again and drove the ball forward. Going nicely. 6
12 Coll Got plenty of the ball and used it more efficiently than some teammates. 6
13 Rich Career-high 27 touches and linked well, although overdid the handball at times. 7
14 Melb Fired out a brilliant 20m handball to rampaging Cooney late in last. 6
15 GWS The talented teenager continued his strong recent form. 6

17 Haw Classy youngster played wing/half back. 23 touches, most by hand. 5
18 WCE Sub. Only time for three touches but didn’t adjust to the pace of the game. 1
