2017 Season

1 Rich Youngster had his moment up forward. Kicked two goals and got into good spots on occasions. 4
2 Melb Hampered by a leg issue in the first half and struggled to make an impact when he returned. 3
3 Ess Great battle with Brown. Stats not huge and didn’t kick a goal but effort and commitment was certainly there. 4
4 GCS Everything he did had a touch of class. Ended with three goals and used the ball well around the ground. 7
5 Port Didn’t stop trying the entire game and was rewarded with a goal in the last term. 5
6 Syd Struggling until his day ended with a shoulder injury just before half time; two possessions. 1
7   Shoulder.  
8 StK Starved of opportunities but was a real headache for the saints with two first quarter goals. Presented well. 5
9 Frem Moved well around the ground in the first half but faded from there. 5
10 NM Had some moments but failed to hit the scoreboard and had little impact forward of centre. 3
11   Bye.  
12 GWS Presented well at times and kicked one goal after a free for a nice tackle on Whitfield. Progressing steadily. 5
13 GCS Quiet first three quarters though bobbed up to kick two crucial fourth quarter goals. 4
14 Rich Just a couple of possessions in first half then lifted slightly. Ball use was off target. 4
15 Adel Great goal on the run late in the second term when the Blues were challenging hard. 5
16 Melb Early goal and ended with three from seven kicks in what was a very handy contribution from the 19-year-old. 6
17 WB Couldn’t get into the game at all up forward. Had to work up the ground to get a kick and didn’t kick a goal. 3
18 Bris Shades of his old man with a reaching one handed spoil across Hipwood. Only highlight. 3
19 Geel Good experience but this time around it was a bad one. Five effective disposals and one goal in final term. 3
20 Ess Had Hurley for company a lot and apart from one great mark he was never really a factor apart from one goal in third term. 3
21 WCE Kicked two goals after some early errors. Showed character and skill. 5
22 Haw Poor night. Just couldn’t get near it. To his credit he didn’t throw the towel in. 3
23   Shoulder.  

2016 Season

1   Played in VFL trial against Richmond.  
2   Senior emergency.  
3   Hamstring.  
4   Hamstring.  
5 VFL Two goals from 12 disposals on debut for the Blues. Plenty to be happy about.
6   Thigh.  
7   Thigh.  
8 VFL Youngster had five kicks from one mark in a half. All good for his experience.
9 VFL Slotted three goals from four kicks. Blues fans were wetting their pants.
10 VFL Bye.
11 VFL Took five contested marks and kicked four goals to show up Jones/Jaksch.
12 VFL Four goals, three tackles and six kicks. Blue fans are getting aroused. Debut looming.
13 VFL Bye.
14 VFL Kicked 2.2 from four marks. Didn’t star but chance to debut against Pies.
15 Coll Showed enough to suggest he will be a player. A fan favourite already. 5
16 Adel Kid kicked first goal of his career and that was only highlight. 2
17 WCE One goal but was generally quiet. Fans get very excited each time he gets it. 2
18 Syd Struggled getting involved up forward with just the two kicks. 3
19 Haw Relatively subdued but showed some positive signs again. Showed a cool head. 5
20 StK Showed some smarts in front half but drifted out of the game the longer it went on. 5
21 Bris Made the most of his limited opportunities with three goals. 6

23 Ess Didn’t make the most from limited chances. Defensive output was good. Seven tackles. 5
