7 VFL The best of the Bombers forwards and the most threatening on the day. Booted three goals.
8 Geel Three goals which was superb in providing support to the likes of Daniher and co. Handy game. 6
9 WCE The quietest of the Essendon players. Kicked a goal in the third term though. 3
10 Rich Played third forward role but struggled to impact the momentum of the game. Only goal a lucky one from the goalsquare. 4
11 GWS Failed to kick a goal against old mob and wasn’t really a factor. 4
12 Port Two first term goals as the Bombers jumped out of the blocks. Got lots of the footy floating up the ground. 6

14 Syd A handful at stages in the Bombers forward half. Drifted out, but two goals were important in the end result. 5
15 Bris Started full of running apart form holding ball too long and being penalised. Disappeared second half. 3
16 Coll Two goals in second term a highlight of his game. Seems to be growing in confidence as season unfolds; 14 touches. 6
17 StK Started the game strongly in attack, but scoreline of 0.4 was a 7. 6

19 WB Good early on with his marking and movement, but a few kicks landed too close to score line. 6
20 Carl Quiet one with Marchbank on his hammer for the most part. Couple of handy possessions late, including last goal to AMT. 4
21 Adel Started with an early goal but then was tied up til final term when he kicked a monster goal. 4
22 GCS Two first quarter goals were his contribution. Quiet from there on. 3
23 Frem Kicked four vital goals – all from snaps. Stood up in attack with Hooker's absence. 8
EF Syd Struggled to find the ball enough to hurt opponent. Five kicks and no goals. 2

1 Melb Couldn’t get into the game at all up forward. Two marks, two kicks, no goals. 2
2 NEAFL More involved after being dropped. Kicked two goals in big win.
3 NEAFL Quieter day and was closely tracked by Sydney’s defenders.
4 NEAFL Kicked two goals and showed good work ethic around the ground.
5 NEAFL Disappointing outing. No impact on the contest in front half.
6 NEAFL Marked well in tough conditions at stages. OK without starring.
7 NEAFL Bye.
8 NEAFL Proved too tall and too agile in attack with 20 possessions, five goals.
9 NEAFL Kicked three goals and had six inside-50s to back up last week’s big outing.

11 NEAFL Played forward and did well, kicking three.

13 NEAFL Lively, though not as much as recent weeks.
