1 WCE One of the Roos best in first half, but dropped away in second half when Eagles put their foot down. 6
2 Geel Rebounding defender won plenty of pill out of the back half and used it to teammates pretty well. Handy effort. 7
3 GWS Fair game at half back. Won’t want to see replay of one muffed mark then fend-off from Taranto, however. 5
4 WB Fans will remember him being caught in goalsquare but he was one of the side’s best with poise from defence. 8
5 Frem One of the team’s leading ball winners. Had 26 possessions and performed well. 7
6 GCS Solid game but ball-use could have been better . At one stage found himself in awkward match-up on taller Lynch. 5
7 Adel Bit-part player at half back early, but was influential at times in second half. 6
8 Syd Didn’t run on and follow up when coming out of defence. 4
9 Melb Used the pill pretty well and laid five tackles. Ability to bring others into the contest was solid. 6
10 Carl Found the ball 13 times but was one of three North players who failed to lay a tackle. 4
11 Rich Tried hard to lift team with 26 touches, four tackles and team-high 683 metres gained. 7

2016 Season

1 Adel Only six disposals in the second half and didn’t have a huge influence. 3
2 Bris Good rebound from the backline and used the footy well. 6
3 Melb Nice goal on the run in the third term but wasn’t a big factor running off half back. 5
4 Frem Moved up onto a wing and enjoyed the freedom. Important play driving the ball forward. 7
5 GCS Ran hard through the midfield and found plenty of space. 5
6 WB Matched up with Dickson and did well to keep him in check. 6
7 StK Often seemed to be spare in defence. 5
8 Ess Quiet overall but chimed in when required. Only four touches in second half. 5
9 Carl Stationed on a wing and was better late when the game was shot. 5
10 Syd Tried hard but less than half of his disposals hit their targets. 4
11 Rich Solid game and energetic all night. 5
12 Geel Menzel caused him some grief but kept working doggedly across half back. 5

23 GWS Initially on Lobb but hobbled off with early hip knock and done for the night. 1
EF Adel Couldn’t provide any sort if rebound from half back. Just 13 effective disposals. 4

2015 Season

1 Adel Rebounded the footy five times from defensive 50. 5

5 Haw Back in team and got a bit of the ball – 21 disp. Tried hard. 6

7 Ess Finding his feet off a wing/half back. Quiet but will be better for the run. 3

9 Coll Good early but then had hands full with Fasolo at half back. 5
10 WCE Quiet first half then got more involved from the back half with rebound. 5
11 Syd Flitted in and out of game across half back. 5
12 GWS His best game at AFL level. Three goals, 29 touches and a big influence. 8
14 GCS Did pretty well as wingman and put ball inside 50 seven times. 6
15 Geel Steady again at half back and enjoyed a goal when the game was all over. 6

3 Port Subbed off in the third term after coming form the field with an injured ankle. 4

22 Haw Worried Hawks with pace at times. Progressing nicely in Ross Henshaw’s No. 34. 6

2012 Season

1 Ess Matched up on Heppell at first and had trouble containing him. 3
2 GWS Good breakaway pace and prepared to work hard. 6
3 Geel Just the 12 possessions and not as prominent as some off a wing. 3
4 Syd Kicked two goals in a promising, consistent effort. 6
5 GCS Excellent game. Won the ball well and used it cleanly. 8
6 WCE Classy with his two goals. 5
7 WB Did a great job on Dahlhaus early but then he got away. 4
8 Port Rotated through the midfield and was serviceable. 5
9 Bris Not prominent overall. 3
10 Haw Did a few nice things but needed to get involved more often. 3
12 GCS Worked hard at both ends of the ground. 7
13 Adel Long striding winger who cut through the lines. 4
14 StK Had a steady game especially in second half apart form a couple of clangers. 5

17 Rich Beaten by Deledio early off a wing but did a few good things, including a goal. 5
18 Melb Busy around the midfield and kick-started the Kangaroos first term blitz. 7
19 WB Had task on Giansiracusa/Griffen at times. Subbed out at three-quarter time. 4
20 Ess Copped a couple of heavy bumps. Not a huge factor. 4
21 Coll Not afraid to run in and get in the face of opponents. 5
22 Frem Opening goal and kept up a busy workrate. 5
23 GWS Started the game on Scully and was solid if unspectacular. 4
EF WCE Under siege all day and certainly not the worst. 4
