2	NEAFL	Had 20 touches off half back and through midfield. Okay without starring.	–
3	Haw	Slipped back nicely into Suns back six, and snuck forward to snag a goal.	7
4	Carl	Strong night in the back half. Rebounded well and got the right position at the right time on a few occasions.	7
5	Adel	Rotated between Betts and Cameron and did his best to attack from defence.	6
6	NM	Never stopped working and using has anticipation from deep in defence and further up the field.	7
7	Geel	Cats’ allowed him to dominate the game from behind the ball and he lapped it up to be a key player in the victory; 30 touches.	8
8	Port	Gold Coast’s best in first half. Played with positivity, but had little support of movement to kick to. Tried hard.	7

10	Melb	Gave good drive early on, but then was swamped by Dees in second half.	5
11	WCE	Took the game on and always looked like a threat with ball in hand, going at 100% efficiency.	8

14	StK	Slotted straight back in after his enforced absence and was a continual force running from deep in defence and covering ground.	7
15	NM	Strong in defence and looked to take the game on at every chance.	7
16	Syd	Rohan had him in his back pocket all night, worst game of his season.	1
17	Coll	Another who was not at his best with ball use, coughing it up coming out of defence.	4
18	WB	Ability to rebound wasn’t where it normally is and the Suns were worse for it.	4
19	Rich	Rioli got better of him early, but bounced back to be one of the better Suns performers.	6
20	Frem	Did a good job on the small forwards. Didn’t get the chance to run off.	6
21	Bris	Mopped-up well across half back and was on top of Zorko in first term.	6
22	Ess	Kept quiet coming off half back and butchered the footy (41% efficiency). Not his night.	3
23	Port	With the footy locked in their defensive 50 most of the match, Harbrow did his best to breakeven with his immediate opponent.	6

2016 Season

1	Ess	Worked hard between the arcs, utilising his pace to break away from contest.	6
2	Frem	Damaging from defence. He hurt Freo with his skill and pace.	7
3	Carl	Allowed to roam free for majority of the evening but not too damaging.	5
4	Bris	Lost out in his battle with Mayes.	5
5	NM	Useful and helped out the defence when needed.	5
6	Geel	One rebound and eight effective disposals not enough from an experienced leader.	2
7	Melb	Made some great defensive tackles and looked far more lively than previous month.	7
8	GWS	Underwhelming display with just two kicks for the game in defence.	3
9	Adel	Well contained coming out of defence, lacked his usual zip.	4
10	WCE	Tried hard despite the wave of West Coast inside-50s.	5
11	Syd	Worked hard defensively and came into it well in second half.	6

2015 Season

1	Melb	Must have got a rocket at half time and to his credit he responded.	6
2	StK	Had 20 touches before shoulder injury forced him off at half time.	4

5	Bris	Floated between midfield and defence and was solid.	6
6	Adel	Ran hard all night but forward entries were sloppy.	6
7	WCE	The conditions didn’t allow him to run and create. Had 12 disposals.	5
8	Coll	Down on usual influence and turned over the ball far too much.	4
9	Haw	Hardly noticed.	2
10	Syd	Booted a long goal and was quite handy.	6
11	Frem	Worked hard through the midfield and ran everywhere.	7
13	Carl	Started well but drifted right out of the match when Blues got on top.	5

2014 Season

1	Rich	Showed good zip in midfield and his creativity was important at times.	6

3	Bris	Used his speed to break away from the stoppage and used the footy well.	7
4	Haw	Kept going all game, ran hard at the ball and tried to be creative.	6
5	Melb	Still short of his best. Three clearances and six tackles a highlight.	5
6	GWS	Plenty of the footy including six inside 50s.	6
7	NM	Mopped up well in defence and provided some zip through the middle of the ground.	7
9	StK	Incisive kicking and running off half back.	7
10	WB	Great rebound from defence all day and kept Dahlhaus quiet.	7
11	Adel	His run and carry out of defence was a highlight.	7
12	Syd	Tried to give some run and speed off half back and through the middle.	6
13	WCE	Matched on Cripps . Not as prolific as usual, but important goal late.	5
14	Geel	Ball use first class and was able to run and create for teammates all night.	8
15	Haw	Lifted in second term but later got reported for unnecessary hit.	3

17	WB	Couldn’t provide customary energy and run from defence against old side.	4
18	Bris	Less freedom than usually afforded him given Lions dominance. Kept going.	5

20	Carl	Drifted forward for two goals and provided some dash from defence.	6

2	Syd	The experienced defender shone for the Suns with his disposal and decision-making.	8
3	Bris	Relishing the move into the midfield and his pace is a weapon.	7
4	Port	Zip in the midfield is damaging and he’s managing to hit the scoreboard also.	7
5	GWS	Had 10 touches in first term and constantly gathered ball and generated.	7
6	Frem	Got the most possessions on the ground and ran hard all night.	8
7	Melb	Tied down by McKenzie but able to break free in second half.	5
8	WB	A little bit down on his season to date form, but still good.	6
9	Haw	Not in it early, but then ticked over OK.	5
10	Geel	Four rebound 50s, a goal and some darting runs a feature of a solid effort.	5
11	NM	Plenty of zip through the middle and dangerous with the footy.	8
12	Ess	Pushed forward to kick a goal and played a solid role in midfield.	6
14	Adel	Disposal efficiency let him down but he ran hard all day.	6
15	Bris	Racked-up 14 of his 20 disposals in first half then faded.	6

1	Adel	Had one horrible turnover, otherwise a solid contributor in defence.	7
2	StK	Had task on Milne and kept him goalless in first half. Battled after that.	5
3	Ess	Another good performance and snuck forward to kick a goal.	7
4	Bris	Was doing ok until he seriously hurt his elbow in second quarter.	3
15	Geel	Dash from half back was good all match and among the best. Pace hurt Cats.	7
16	Rich	Energetic all afternoon and kicked a vital late goal to give them hope.	7
17	Bris	Typical dashing performance off half back.	6
18	Syd	Continued his good season in milestone match.	7
19	Melb	Only 5 disposals first half then got cracking but by then game was all over.	6
20	GWS	Did not win as much footy as recently, but was efficient.	5
21	Haw	Picked up Breust for a time. Ran well off the half back line but then tapered.	4
22	Carl	A little wasteful with the footy.	4
23	Adel	Lacked his usual drive coming from defence.	4
