2016 Digest:   Was delisted and it’s proved to be a kick in the backside as his pre-season has won some plaudits for his resilienc and his contribution around the club. A good performer so far.

2016 NAB Cup:   Worked hard against North and missed a spot against Melbourne.

2016 Season

1   Played in VFL trial against Box Hill Hawks.  
2   Played in VFL trial against Williamstown.  
3 VFL Got plenty of the ball in the development’s league win over Box Hill.

6 VFL Good ball winner in midfield with 27 touches but could have been cleaner.
7 VFL Got a bit of the ball but wasn’t a star in development league outing.
8 VFL Back in senior line-up but struggled to have an impact.
9 VFL Strong ball winner in development league. Stiff to be playing that level.
10 VFL Bye.
11 VFL Very good in midfield battle with 22 touches and an important goal.
12 VFL Strong worker around the ball and played a very handy role in the win.

14 VFL A terrier in tight at the contests but wasted the ball a few times.
15 VFL Won a lot of his own ball and used it well.

1 Melb Whole-hearted effort featuring a couple of splendid tackles. 7
2 GWS Possession tally not big but did some nice work at times. 4
3 WCE Tackled strongly but not a huge impact. 4
4 Adel Sub came on for Wright and kicked nice goal. Big proportion of handballs. 4
5 Ess Hard tackler and gritty worker. 6

7 Haw Sub replaced Geary and showed willingness to work and tackle. 4

9 VFL Had 21 touches but was selfish at times. Good late.

13 Geel Heavy knock to his hip didn’t help his cause. 2

5 Syd Sub showed some good signs on debut after coming on in third term. 3

10 VFL Burrowed in and provided some grunt. Kicking was iffy at times.
