2013 Digest:   Unstoppable veteran in midfield and early indications are that he looks sharp and keen to produce yet another big season. A knee injury in mid-season was a setback, but he returned to play a crucial role in the finals. A wonderful servant of the club.

1	GWS	Swans’ warrior play a forward role well – two goals and good pressure.	7
2	GCS	With six inside 50s the veteran typically drove the Swans forward.	5
3	NM	Veteran proved terrific value with early goals then a fourth later on.	7
4	Geel	Kicked two goals in first quarter then went out of the game.	5
5	StK	Prominent early and tackled hard.	6
6	Bris	Spent a lot of time forward and finished with 2.3. Dangerous player.	6
7	Haw	Well held up forward then thrown into the middle late to get into game.	5
8	Frem	Displayed his usual endeavour, going on the ball late in the match.	5

10	Ess	Low key but honest game in conditions that suited him down to the ground.	5

13	Port	Quiet game by his lofty standards, couldn’t work his way into the game.	3
14	Carl	Didn’t have the impact expected on a wet night across half forward. Just OK.	4
15	Melb	Garland had the better of him most of the day. Didn’t hit scoreboard.	4

5	Haw	On Hodge initially and quiet in first half. Then great out of centre.	7
6	Adel	Worked extremely hard, as usual, and his tackling was superb.	6
7	Rich	Quiet start but helped spark the comeback in third quarter.	5
8	Melb	In and under the packs, as usual, and was extremely strong with his tackling.	6
9	StK	High ratio of handballs to kicks. Not damaging.	5
10	WB	Continues to impress at the age of 32, a career-best 41 possessions.	9
11	Ess	Good start and worked hard in packs. Only four kicks in 28 disposals.	7
