1	WCE	First kick came in the third term and was fairly quiet on debut. Will be better for the experience.	3
2	Geel	Kid looks a real player. Got some poise and smarts which showed out each time he got the footy.	5
3		Thigh.
4	WB	Kid did some great things. Two goals and looked class when he got around the pill. Lot to like about top draft pick.	6
5	Frem	Booted a goal during the second term.	4
6	GCS	Looked the goods a couple of times early in the night early but didn’t win a high possession count.	3
7		Rested.
8	Syd	Hurt shoulder after strong bump in early stages of game and couldn’t continue after midway through second term.	1

15	VFL	Won a lot of hard footy and was a good contributor. 15 touches and a goal.	–
16	Frem	Quiet game at half forward. Needed better composure with ball in hand at stages.	2
17	Port	Still finding his feet at senior level, no doubting he has great talent. One to watch.	5
18	Ess	Had one possession in the first half finished with eight for the game. Three tackles as well.	3
19	Melb	Nice goal in second quarter and kicked the eventual winner into the wind.	6

21	Haw	Tough day at the office. 12 disposals.	4
22	StK	Showed flashes of brilliance and footy smarts, but needs to build his stats.	4
23	Bris	Again showed some little gems and now needs to secure more of the ball.	4
