2017 Season

2 Coll Came off the bench to get involved with a dozen disposals forward of centre. Will it be enough to hold his place? 3
3 WCE Decent performance rotating as a mid-forward. Nothing spectacular, but played his role well. 6
4 Bris Only the nine touches and didn't appear to work hard enough to work the other wat against his opponent, Rich, 4
5 Melb Had 20 touches – but wasn’t noticeable for long periods. Did some handy inside work. 5
6 Adel Kicked Richmond’s only goal in the third term. 4
7 WB Had 23 touches and was busy at the fall of the ball in the forward half. 5
8 Frem Got hands to ball enough (20 touches) but often scrappy with disposal. Just has to work on poise with ball in hand. 5
9 GWS Tackled hard and won a good percentage of his possessions in tight. 6
10 Ess Ran with Merrett for periods and sound in that role. Tackled hard and won some hard ball in a solid display. 6
11 NM Getting better every time he steps out. Two goals, 25 disposals, five marks and 400 metres gained. Strong performance. 8
12   Bye.
13 Syd Started on Hannebery on the wing. Went at 33 % and didn’t have a big say in the outcome of the game. 4
14 Carl Very good early on with 15 disposals in opening half. Slowed a touch, but one of the Tigers best. 7
15 Port Big midfield performance with nine tackles, six clearances, six inside-50’s and two goal assists. 8
16 StK Honest trier was one of the better performed Tigers in a gloomy match. 6
17 Bris Numbers will look okay, but didn’t have a massive influence on the contest as part of the Tiger midfield. 5
18 GWS Jagged a nice snap goal late in second quarter and provided some run because he was able to find some space. 6
19 GCS Just OK. Did not make a great impact on proceedings though was OK at the stoppages. 5
20 Haw Provided more pressure than Jake the Snake Roberts DDT. 30 disposals and eight inside-50s. 6
21 Geel The big improver at Tigerland. Found the ball 28 times and had team high 6 clearances. 7
22 Frem Booted three goals in the second term and was extremely damaging. 7
23 StK Nippy performance from the playmaker. Really starting to find his feet in the middle; 21 touches. 7
QF Geel Underrated busy bee around the ball and was nippy throughout; 24 disposals, four clearances and 1.3 7
PF GWS Hampered early on by an ankle, but got the Tigers’ first and ended with seven inside 50s. Big effort. 7
GF Adel Busier than a one-armed paperboy. Ended day with 22 possessions, seven inside-50s and 3 tackles. One goal. 7

2016 Season

1 Carl First goal of season and was industrious until huge final term helped swing game Tigers’ way. 7
2 Coll Started well again. Defensive pressure in front half was good and ended with two goals. 6
3 Adel 18 touches and a goal and was handy at times. 4
4 WCE Booted the opening goal. The forwards didn’t get enough supply. 4
5 Melb Quiet one. Came in averaging 20 disposals but couldn’t get near that. Four inside-50s and one point. 3
6 Port Early knock in ribs, which ended his night and he was sent to hospital. 1
7   Ribs.
8   Ribs.
9 Frem Not the game you wanted to return from a serious injury but had a crack. 4
10 Ess Made costly errors and fumbled a lot when ball came into his area. Not a key factor. 3
11 NM Rarely sighted. 2
12 GCS Got on the end of a few but missed badly in final term. Handy without starring. 5
14 Bris Some fine pick-ups off the ground were a feature but generally subdued afternoon. 3
15 Port Despite laying five tackles was largely unsighted. 3
16 VFL Responded well to AFL axing, winning 14 contested possessions and eight clearances.
17   Bye.
18 VFL Not as prolific as one would expect but played his role.
19 GWS Quiet afternoon. Amassed a meagre three touches after half time. 3
20 VFL Torched his former team with 37 touches at 89% effectiveness in midfield.
21 VFL Continued hot run with 35 possessions and a goal. Deserves a recall.
22 StK Won some ball but fumbled and didn’t always get great value for disposals. 5
23 Syd Hardly a factor in midfield/forward rotation. 4

2015 Season

13 Syd Struggled with pace of game again and was subbed out. 3
14 GWS Youngster failed to impact on the game. 3
15 Carl Sub. Dashed around for 11 final-term touches in a solid display. 2
16 StK Good worker who picked up a fair share of the ball. 5
17 Frem Possibly his best game at senior level. Ran with Neale at stages. 7
18 Haw Kicking not great early but nipped in for crucial goal. 5
19 Adel Played his part in the midfield rotations with four inside-50s. 6
20 GCS Great first term got side going and ended as one of the key ball winners. 7
21 Coll Great early then faded out of the game to a degree. One goal, three clearances. 4
22 Ess Work-rate first class as he buzzed from one end to the other. 6
23 NM Busy worker and deserves his place. 6
EF NM Industrious around the footy and kicked a good long goal. Handy. 6
