2017 Digest:   Second-year tall had a delayed start to pre-season thanks to a shoulder problem from late 2016, then a hip complaint.

5	VFL	Steady without starring down back on return from injury.	–
6	VFL	Didn't have much to do in defence as the Bulldogs dominated.	–
7	VFL	Okay defensively, but needs to get more ball on the rebound to hurt opponent.	–
8	VFL	Showed a bit down back. Competed well defensively, and got a bit of the ball.	–
9	VFL	Just fair down back. Caught out a few times, but only young and will improve.	–
10	VFL	Okay down back, but didn’t have much to do for long periods.	–

5	VFL	Had hands full at stages in defence and ball use wasn’t up to scratch.	–
6	VFL	Key back found the going tough but did showcase glimpses of his talent.	–

8	VFL	Took seven marks down back in an even effort. Key back progressing well.	–
9	GWS	Tough debut game in the back half. Will learn from the experience.	2
