10	WCE	His work set up shots for goal and he also had 22 disposals.	6
11	Ess	Didn’t waste too many of his 30-odd touches. Generally made the right decision.	7
12	Carl	Hasn’t taken long to find his best form. Ended the day with 29 touches, four clearances and five tackles. Did his bit.	7

14	Bris	Rarely had trouble finding the ball and his slick usage resulted in three scoring assists.	8
15	Geel	Ran hard, found the ball and was always a source of frustration for the Cats. One goal and seven inside-50s.	8
16	Haw	Kicks more than he handballs and why not when you’re that efficient by foot. Didn’t dominate but still class.	6
17	Syd	Nine first quarter touches and did not stop running. 23 disposals and seven tackles.	6
18	Rich	Started well with an early goal and kept battling. Not his best game and wet conditions probably didn’t suit him.	6
19	Frem	Not sure why teams afford him so much space. He is so damaging when he gets it. In everything with nine score involvements.	7
20	Melb	Classy with ball in hand and was a smarty player in the wind with his positioning.	7
21	WB	Former No. 1 draft pick flitted in and out of the game. Handy at times without setting world on fire.	6
22	WCE	Kept running on the wings and was involved in everything in the final quarter. 676 metres gained.	7
23	Geel	Quiet first half (six disposals) and theme continued throughout. Only nine kicks which is what he needs to impact.	4
QF	Adel	Barely sighted when whips were cracking in opening hour. Slightly better after main break, but has to be better.	4
SF	WCE	Head to head with Gaff for much of the night. Copped a heavy knock just before half time. Won the duel comfortably.	8
PF	Rich	Couple of hard attacks on the footy and grabbed 19 disposals and eight inside-50s.	7

2016 Season

1	Melb	Used ball when he got it without being a superstar. Four inside-50s, three tackles.	6
2	Geel	Gave life to the overall effort with his run and carry off a wing. Used the ball each time he got it.	7
3	Syd	Exceptional in the first half and toiled hard after half time. Five tackles and six inside-50s.	6
4	Port	Consistent effort playing mostly on the wing. Nine marks and six inside-50s.	6
5	StK	Quiet start but worked into the game more as it wore on.	4
6	Haw	Classy on the outside and kicked an important goal to halt Hawks’ momentum. Arriving as a star.	7
7	Frem	Used the ball well by hand to put teammates into space.	5
8	GCS	Run and carry a highlight through the midfield. Helped out backline with four rebound-50s.	5
9	WB	Exceptional work-rate and gave forwards a heap of supply with seven inside-50s.	6
10	Adel	Makes the incredible look easy, just needs to find more consistency.	5
11	Geel	Gut running a feature of his game then netted three goals, six inside-50s and three clearances.	8
12	Syd	Even effort on the wing and ran hard both ways.	5

14	Carl	Quiet night on the wing. First-quarter goal his only real highlight.	4

2015 Season

1	StK	Smooth mover was a key with his run and carry. Five inside-50s and a goal.	7
2	Melb	Did his bit without starring. Looks set for a strong season.	5
3	Syd	Won a mountain of ball but surprisingly wasted some of his touches.	7
4	GCS	Played his part in opening three terms until subbed with an injury issue.	5
5	WCE	His hospital passes wouldn’t have endeared him to his teammates.	4
6	Haw	Consistent four-quarter effort – 26 touches and eight inside-50s.	6
7	Carl	Used ball well to help create surges into attacking space.	6

1	Syd	Showed why he was a No.1 draft pick. Heaps of poise plus hard work.	7

2	Port	Looked every bit the No.1 draft pick and impressed all night.	7
3	StK	Only two of his 12 touches were kicks but he showed a couple of glimpses.	3
4	Melb	Clean, composed and classy with ball in hand. His best outing yet at this level.	7
5	GCS	Again showed glimpses of exciting talent.	5
6		Soreness.
7	Adel	Not the worst but was fighting against the tide.	5
8	Haw	Most of disposals were handballs. Subbed off in third term.	3
9	WCE	For such a young player his poise and decision-making is already first class.	5
10	Carl	Good in patches and used the ball well.	6
11	Geel	Sub. All class when he came on to grab seven disposals.	2
12	Port	Good battle with Broadbent for much of the day. Ball use and smarts stood out.	6
14	NM	Class player. When he got it a teammate was on the end of it.	7
15	WB	Such a good user of the ball, he also took nine marks.	7
16	Syd	Had 12 possessions in first term, but slowed down after that. Plenty to work with.	6
17	Ess	A little subdued this week, but his disposal is outstanding for one so young.	4

19	Melb	Classy performer with two goals, 26 possessions. Showed why he was pick No.1.	8
20	Frem	Only one kick in first half and five for the game. Struggled all afternoon.	2
