2017 Digest:   Did well with a few big tasks in JLT series especially against Jon Patton but will have to forge his way into seniors via NEAFL.

2017 Season

2	NEAFL	Tried hard in the back half but was outsized on occasions.	–
3	NEAFL	Did well in the back half in a defensive role. Got a bit of ball himself too.	–
4		Senior emergency.
5	GWS	First gamer faced uphill battle against talented GWS forward pack. Foot disposal was accurate.	3
6	Carl	Kid did some good things both forward and back. Stats modest but worth persisting with as a defender.	4
7	Bris	Troubled a bit by Close in the air in defence. Looked a bit shaky at times.	4
8	NM	Young defender wasn’t a factor.	2
9	StK	Couple of wobbly moments early down back, but stuck to his task and is learning every week.	3
10	Haw	Hand a few different matchups, but had Sicily for long periods. Okay, but not outstanding.	5
11		Bye.
12	WB	Youngster has more muscle than a seafood buffet and getting more comfortable using it by the week. Steady effort.	4
13	NEAFL	Didn’t have much to do down back overall, but did what was required.	–
14	Ess	Struggled with Stewart in first half. Slightly better after main break.	4
15	Melb	Took some good intercept marks and played his part in the defensive half.	6
16	GCS	Probably had his best game in the seniors, kicked his first goal in the big league late on	7
17	GWS	Confident in the contest and bringing the ball out of defence, even if a few errors. Ready for major role when Grundy retires.	5
18	StK	Matched on Riewoldt and held his own in first half then got better as game progressed.	6
19	Haw	Only 9 touches in a tough outing for him.	3
20	Geel	Key defender didn’t really have a match-up but wasn’t able to take advantage and hurt Cats’ offensively.	2
21	Frem	Stats not big, but did his job in the Sydney backline.	5
22	Adel	Got the run around from the Crows best forward on the night Mitch McGovern.	4
23	Carl	Had a great tussle with Curnow. Coming along nicely as a key defender.	6

2016 Season

1		Played in NEAFL trial against UWS Giants.
2	NEAFL	Quiet game with just seven touches.	–
3	NEAFL	Up and down game in defence but showed some good signs in a few contests.	–
4	NEAFL	Wasn’t a factor for much of the afternoon. Just four touches.	–
5	NEAFL	A bit sloppy at times in the back half with his disposal.	–
6	NEAFL	Defended fairly well but had no impact going forward.	–
7	NEAFL	Did his job without much fuss down back.	–
8	NEAFL	Didn’t have much to do in defence in 25-goal victory.	–
9	NEAFL	Bye.	–
10	NEAFL	OK down back but conceded a few goals to his Sydney Uni opponents.	–
11	NEAFL	Quieter game in defence but didn’t have a lot to do.	–
