4 VFL Used mostly in defence and was fair at best. Looks a long way off senior footy, but a good athlete. –
5 VFL Worked around the ground and did some nice things. Continues to develop gradually. –
6 VFL Had 16 touches and looked good in patches. Opposition has to be taken into account though. –
7 VFL Started back, but went forward and showed a bit. Developing steadily and they'll be pleased with what he's shown. –
8 VFL Best game so far this year and seems to improve each week. 18 touches and 10 marks in defence. –
9 VFL Kicked a goal, but had little impact that aside. –
10 VFL Played a few different roles and was fair. Kicked a goal in the big win. –

12 VFL Started forward then shifted to defence. Conditions didn’t favor talls. –
13 VFL Caught the eye playing down back. Got a bit of the ball and defended strongly. –
14 VFL Continues to build down back. 14 possessions and five rebounds. –
15 VFL Spent time in ruck and was good with 20 hitouts. Has a real dip. –
16   Took 11 marks down back and had a truckload of the ball. Is jumping out of the ground.  
17 Carl Great debut. Looked calm, got into good spots and defended well; 21 disposals and nine marks. 8
18 GCS Good once again in defence. Read the play well to take 10 marks. Dogs have found one here. 7
19 Ess Playing third game the young defender was used as a step ladder a couple of times but showed his poise with the ball. 4
20 Bris Spent time on Hipwood and Walker. Found Walker a bit slippery to deal with. 5
21 GWS Like a horror movie for the kid. Cost team three goals with clangers and was hammered in contests. Poor kid. 1
22 Port Stood first-gamer Marshall and wasn’t able to intercept as well as he did in first two games. 3
23 Haw Young key defender got another experience under his belt. Even spent time up forward in second half without any return. 2
