4 PM Played mostly in defence and was able to shut down his opponents and provide some drive.
5 VFL Forced to ruck against Meese and had a dip, but outsized. Had 25 hitouts and five inside-50s.
6 VFL Kicked two goals, while also pinched hit in the ruck with eight hit outs. Was also used a key defensive post at times.
7 VFL Seemed to be everywhere at times. 15 possessions, but did some fine work at both ends.
8 VFL Stout in defence against an undermanned Casey. In superb form at VFL level.
9 VFL Outstanding in defence and putting together a great patch of form. Took 15 marks.

12 GWS Did a fine job on Patton who kicked two goals but for the most part he had him covered. Welcome back to footy. 7
13 GCS Continued his renaissance by holding Tom Lynch goalless. Remarkable transformation. 8
14 Rich Tiger movement caught him out at times, but continued to back himself to read the play. Fair without starring. 6
15 Adel Comeback of the year, took Taylor Walker to the cleaners and provided plenty of rebound from the last line of defence. 8
16 Melb Had Hogan covered in another notch on the belt. Going other way only had six effective touches but played his role. 6
17 WB Beat Redpath hands down and crashed packs whenever he could in another solid defensive display. 7
18 Bris Never got settled. Four disposals until half time. Seven for the game. Needed to do more. 4
19 Geel Hawkins caused him some issues when on him but not helped by fact the ball was coming in sideways. Battled away. 4
20 Ess Daniher got away early but he rebounded well to be a really good player. Great battle against Bomber star. 7
21 WCE Started well on Kennedy but lost his way and the Eagle kicked six goals. 4
22 Haw Defensively superb. Spoiled everything and was aggressive at the contest. Kept Roughead quiet. 7
23 Syd Had a night to forget on Buddy. To his credit, never dropped his head but it will be one to forget in a hurry. 2

2016 Season

1   Played in VFL trial against Richmond.  
2   Played in VFL trial against Port Melbourne.  
3 VFL Three goals from centre half forward and will at least enter selection discussion.
4 VFL Three second-term goals and five for the match proved match-winning.
5 Frem Two goals when the game was on the line lifted the Blues to victory. 5
6 Ess One great snap goal early but for most part not influential. Two marks for the day. 3
7 Coll Two early contested marks and flung himself at the ball all day. Not big stats but played role. 5
8 Port Kicked two goals – including an important one in final term. Not a big day but gave a target. 6
9 NM Had Tarrant for company and tried hard for his two goals, but delivery wasn’t the best. 5

11 VFL Four inside-50s, one goal, five tackles but didn’t take a mark.
12 VFL Kicked 2.2 from five contested marks in a reasonable effort inside forward 50.

1 Rich Started well with strong marking but then chances limited. 4
2 WCE Missed chance early then kicked goal in third term but was pretty putrid. 2
3 Ess Will be lucky to stay in team after another disappointing display. One goal. 4
4 StK Working hard to have an impact, and kicking for goal wayward with just one. 3
5 Coll On Brown. Couldn’t get into it, although got hands to a lot of balls. 3
6 Bris Horrid first half. Came to life with two marks inside 50 when game all but over. 3
7 VFL One goal from four marks on return to VFL.
8 Geel Don’t be fooled by a few late touches. One tackle. 2
9 Syd Shaping as one of the great recruiting busts. 1
10 VFL Goalless in loss to Coburg but took some good marks.
11 VFL Bye.
12 VFL Marked well at times but just nine touches and a goal.
13 VFL Another Blue to bag six. Height was too much for Dolphins.
14 VFL Quiet first half then unsighted. Possible injury?
15 VFL Scoreless in attack and spent time running through ruck.
16 VFL Chipped in with two goals but made some bad errors.
17 Haw Disastrous night. Hard to believe he penned a three-year deal. 1
18 VFL 15 hitouts as mobile ruck but couldn’t sniff it in attack.
19 VFL Used in defence and was caught behind too often.
20 VFL Presented well but wasn’t able to get into the game.
21 VFL Played in attack and ruck. No impact in either role.
22 VFL Much better than recent weeks. Two goals and 17 touches.

2014 Season

1 PM Took some strong contested marks and even had a go in the ruck.
2 NM Struggled to get into game. Kicked goal, but nothing much else. 3
3 Rich Back in the team and booted three critical goals. Good outing. 7
4 GWS Kicked three important goals to help get the Dogs home. 6
5 Carl Started very well on Rowe then no touches second term. 5
6 Adel N.I.G.H.T.M.A.R.E. Couldn’t touch it in attack. Swung back and made two horror errors. 1
7 Ess Kicked one goal but rarely looked like hurting the Dons. 4
8 Melb Ineffective early but gave something after half time with attack on ball. 5

12 VFL Chipped in with two goals and took a big pack grab.
13 Coll Brilliant effort. Kicked four goals, smashed packs and tackled hard. 8
14 Port Couldn’t break the shackles of Trengove. 3
15 Melb One handball in three quarters then subbed. Back to the VFL? 0
16 VFL Main avenue to goal with three majors. Took eight marks too.
17 VFL Kicked two goals and brought teammates into the game.
18 VFL Starred in attack with six goals. Saw off a few opponents.
19 VFL Dominated in attack in first half with four goals.
20 VFL Goalless and was beaten on the day.
21 VFL Marked well at times and chimed in with a goal.

4 Adel Needs to revaluate his commitment as his effort and positioning are average. 2
5 Geel Promising effort. Took five contested marks and kicked four goals. 8
6 WCE Didn’t start well, but ended up taking nine marks when he lifted workrate. 6
7 NM Thompson had the better of him. Sensational mark in third term. 3
8 GCS Taken to the cleaners by Thompson and subbed out. 1
9 StK Couldn’t get a sniff early and managed just one goal for the game. 2
10 Port Kicked the first goal but was then well held by Carlile. 3
12 Coll First mark just before half time and missed. Seldom seen. 2

5 GWS Struggling as the key Bulldogs forward, managed a goal. 3
6 Coll Well contained at centre half forward by Brown. Constantly caught under ball. 4
8 GCS Only one goal tracked by Warnock. Tackled well at times. 3
9 Geel Took a few grabs but failed to convert when the Dogs needed him to. 4
10 VFL Presented well up forward but didn’t get rewarded.
11 VFL Beat Gilham and continued to present to the ball carrier.
12 Port One goal but well held and rarely found himself dangerous inside the arc. 3
13 Bris Horrible day. Two marks just not enough from a forward target. 1

15 VFL Kicked three goals and gave Seagulls a good target.
