4 PM Had a few hitouts, but again struggled to get his hands on the ball both in the ruck and forward.
5   Shoulder.
6   Shoulder.
7 VFL Back from injury and had 11 hitouts. Still not seeing much of the leather around the ground.
8 VFL Good in the ruck and better than he has been around the ground. Learning.
9 VFL Just the one touch – which is about his average – and little impact in the ruck.
10   Bye.
11   Bye.
12 VFL Kicked a goal in Blues development league team. Found a bit more ball.
13 VFL Booted two goals in Blues development league. A small step forward.
14 VFL Booted a goal and did some handy work in the ruck.
15 VFL Had 38 hitouts and six possessions in ruck role against Pittonet. Fair.
16 VFL Combined with Gorringe to gain the upperhand in the ruck, then kicked a goal.
17 VFL Fair. Had 18 hitouts and will be better for the run against Leuenberger.
18 VFL Second ruck showed glimpses but they were minimal. Couldn't adapt to the conditions.
19 VFL Handled the ruck responsibility when Gorringe went down really well. Got his hands to a number of contests.
20 VFL Again the No.1 ruckman and showed a few encouraging signs.
21 VFL Grew as the game went on in the ruck and in the end, won the duel.
22 VFL Did well in the ruck with 36 hitouts in tandem with Gorringe.
23 VFL Didn’t have a kick – and had just two handballs. Ruck work was okay, but that’s all he offers.

2016 Season

Played for : Carlton

1   Played in VFL trial against Richmond.
2   Didn’t play for Northern Blues.
3 VFL Good experience for the rookie and one he will learn from. Very quiet.
4 VFL Giant ruckman grabbed a couple of nice marks. Size was a factor around ground.
5 VFL Giant ruckman couldn’t impact the flow of the contest.
6 VFL Big ruckman couldn’t influence flow of game and stats were very modest.
7   Rucked pretty well given scoreline. Mobility an issue at next level.
8 VFL Didn’t have a kick and gave away four free kicks in ruck. Battled big time.
9 VFL Lumbering unit had 17 more hit-outs (18) than he did kicks (1). At least it was a goal.
10 VFL Bye.
11 VFL Ruckman had four tackles which was one more than his total kicks and handballs.
12 VFL Strong game in the ruck in upset development league win over Box Hill.
13 VFL Bye.
14 VFL One handball for the day. Looked like titanic turning the bath tub.
15 VFL Ruck work OK but he didn’t have a kick. Fit for modern game?
16 VFL Ruckman again was a non-factor. Nine possessions, 11 hit-outs.
17 VFL Won some hit-outs but offered donuts around the ground.
18 VFL Had just one kick, but it was the match-winner.
19 VFL One effective touch. Unless he fell on the ball he can’t touch it.
20 VFL Continued consistent output – one kick. A million miles off it.
21 VFL Bye.
22 VFL He didn’t have a kick but had nine hit-outs. Struggling.
23 VFL At least he is consistent – one kick, seven hit-outs.
