1 Bris Roamed across wing and half forward and linked up well with his fellow midfielders. 5

6 Carl May have taken the mark of the year with a stunning piece of courage. 7
7 Frem Superb in the clinches, willed himself to get his hands on the ball first. 8
8 GWS Ran with youngster Kelly and got the better of the match up. 7

11 NM Despite 25 possessions had little say in proceedings. 4
12 Haw Hawthorn’s wingmen carried the footy. Rosa couldn’t match them. 4

1 WB Great start to the season off a wing. In everything all day – 31 touches. 8

5 Rich Played his role without setting world alight off a wing. 6
6 NM Worked hard for his possessions. Covered the ground well. 6
7 Ess Matched on Jetta. 5
8 StK Won 26 possessions without ever standing out. 6
9 Frem Dominated. Had 43 possessions, nine inside 50s and a goal. 9
10 Bris Ran hard and it’s an example a few of his teammates should have followed. 6
12 Carl Ran wide strongly and was a good option. 6
