5 WCE Injected some pace and burst to a game that was stagnant at times. 7
6 Geel Started brilliantly with a couple of goals but folded later. 5
7 GWS His speed too much for GWS, kicking three goals and taking seven marks. 8
8 Frem The two goals he kicked in the last term sparked the Power. 6
10 Haw Brought crowd to life when he burst past former Port great Burgoyne. 4
11 Melb Made a few blues, but continued to work hard and try to provide run. 6

1 PM Not at his best after being surprisingly left out of seniors.
2 VFL Ran hard as is his want. Busy effort.
3 VFL Worked hard to link up through midfield. Solid.
4 VFL Tried to give customary run but was a touch subdued.
5 Frem There’s poised speed and panicky speed. He plays more with the latter. 2
6 Geel Sub. On in final term but unable to have an impact. 1
7 VFL Bye.
8 Melb Sub. Kicked a goal but that was about it. 2
9 Ess Sub. Relatively subdued when given a run. 2
10 WCE Kicked first goal and had 13 disposals in first half. Went quiet after main break. 7
12 Adel Sub. On in third term and had four inside-50s and two goal assists. 2
13 WB Subbed on for Astbury and had an immediate impact. Enjoyed his energy. 4
14 StK Sub came on in third term and immediately got involved. 3
15 NM On early as sub and found a bit of the ball. Becoming very good at the sub role. 5
16 GCS Finally shed the sub’s vest. Gave some run but kicking inside 50 was scrappy. 5
17 Frem Ran with Hill at times in his 100th game and capped it off with a goal. Nice outing. 6
18 Syd Opened with instant goal. Negating forward on Malceski. OK first half. 5
19 Haw Two second-half goals were handy in context of game. Didn’t star. 5
20 Bris Standout game – another pest for Brisbane across half forward. 7

1 VFL Strong game for Coburg. The best of the Tigers.
2 VFL Ran the lines well and was one of the Tigers best.
4 Geel Only played 42 minutes for three touches and a goal. 1
5 WCE Only three possessions from 44 minutes game time. 1
6 VFL 17 possessions and ran hard but not his best day.
7 VFL Strong game in the Tigers midfield.
8 VFL Rebounded after bad start. Not the worst.
11 VFL Finished with 30 touches to be the Tigers best.
13 VFL The Tigers best with 28 disposals and a goal. Reported late.
15 Melb One goal and ball use OK. Played a part. 5
19 Bris Earned another reprieve at selection table and was OK. 5
20 WB Will be anxious all week about his place in side. Not really a factor. 3
21 Frem Used his pace to good effect. Had 20 disposals. 6
