2013 Digest:   Just having him on the park at this stage of the year is seen as a bonus for the Hawks. Just when he seemed to shake free of his knee curse he was waylaid by wrist problems in 2012, and had only two senior games late in the year. But so far so good.

2013 NAB Cup:   Given the opportunity to cement his spot as the number one ruck but Hale has excelled.

18 Ess Got through the game OK which just adds to depth of tall talent. 4
20 Port The main ruckman and did fairly well with 26 hit-outs. 5
23 VFL Controlled the ruck against Sikora. Influential.
QF VFL Started well but was eventually shaded in the ruck.
