Coach Brendan McCartney at least has knowledge of the aboriginal product and might be able to better deploy him than previous coaches.

1	VFL	Came into the game late and had a real influence.	–
2	Adel	Kicked the Bulldogs first goal with a clever snap just on the fifty.	5
3	StK	Subbed on late for Liberatore and kicked goal in junk time.	2
4	Melb	Showed some spark and definitely worth persevering with.	5
5	GWS	His third quarter helped Dogs kick clear.	5
6	Coll	Won eight touches in first half hour, but then just four more for the game.	4
12	VFL	Provided the run needed to get back into the game.	–

15	Frem	The team’s leading inside 50 deliverer. Had 17 possessions.	6
16	Haw	No impact whatsoever. Career at crossroads you would have to think.	3
17	Carl	Battled to get into game after replacing injured Higgins early in third.	2
18	VFL	Not his best game. Had a go though.	–
