2017 Season

1	Ess	Kicked two goals and gave Baguley trouble at times. Forward pressure was at its normal high standard.	6
2	Adel	Took mark of the year contender over Kelly and ended day with three goals. Solid for a small forward.	6
3	GCS	Booted a first quarter goal which was the total sum of his contribution.	1
4	Geel	One goal early in game but was so far down on his best it’s hard to fathom. Three kicks was a disastrous effort.	2
5	WCE	Kicked a goal and applied good pressure in the front half that contributed to West Coast’s disposal errors.	6
6	StK	Only one possession in opening half hour and although he worked hard, was a non-factor in attack.	3
7	Melb	Didn’t have a kick in the first half and managed three for the game despite going onto the ball at times. No goals, six tackles.	2
8	Bris	Played more midfield time in the second half and was hard at the coalface. No goals again, though.	4
9	Coll	High-octane opening with two goals and several pack-busting efforts. Tackles (13) almost caught disposals (15).	6
10	Syd	Kicked a first half goal and put some pressure on but disappeared a bit after half time.	4
11	Port	Two kicks in opening half and four for the match. Not far away from a spell in the VFL way things are going.	1
12	GCS	Struggled to impact the contest with 11 disposals and five tackles. Just not having impact he once did.	3
13		Bye.
14	Adel	Poppy always hurts Adelaide on the scoreboard, another two goals when it mattered most.	6

21	VFL	Worked into the game and had an impact with his presence.	–
22	Carl	Looked dangerous with 2 goals on his return. Only 9 touches but provided a spark.	5
23	WB	Small forward took a couple of nice marks and kicked three goals in what was a solid contribution.	7

2016 Season

1	Geel	Helped drag the Hawks back into the contest with three goals. Energy was great all day.	7
2	WCE	Energetic as always in the front half to either create scoring chances or put pressure on.	6
3	WB	A menace as always with five tackles inside 50. But didn’t hit the scoreboard.	5
4	StK	Got his two goals – including a crucial one in final term. Chasing and harassed as always.	5
5	Adel	Played the game of his life with spectacular marking and great breakaway pace.	9
6	GWS	Two goals but no impact and has to stop throwing head back looking for frees.	3
7	Rich	Strong start and took superb mark rivalling the one against the Crows. Good performer.	7
8	Frem	Good early and booted nice goal, but less impact later.	5
9	Syd	Tried hard enough but couldn’t make the impact on the game as in early weeks.	5
10	Bris	Honest performance in forward half and rotating through the midfield. Had six inside-50s.	5
11	Melb	Well contained for much of the day despite great energy in the front half. Tackled hard.	5
13	NM	Limited influence on the game.	3
14	GCS	Didn’t get into the game at all. Four kicks, two tackles and no goals.	2
16	Port	Another mark of the year contender from the pocket dynamo.	5
17	Syd	Had McVeigh for company at times but still got involved. One goal.	6
18	Rich	Not his day. Made mistakes early and never recovered. Spent more time in midfield.	3

21	NM	Got involved when required to post two goals from 10 kicks.	6
22	WCE	Had a quiet night. Still kicked a goal though.	4
23	Coll	Kicked 1.2 and worked up the ground in final term to create scores.	6
QF	Geel	Huge mark in first term, but generally quiet in front half. Goalless.	4
SF	WB	Bobbed up but managed just seven effective disposals and one goal.	4

2015 Season

1	Geel	Ten disposals and two goals in first half and ended with three – plus a screamer.	7
2	Ess	Two first half goals and worked hard defensively. Quieter after main break.	5
3	WB	Troubled Morris early but did well til hurting quad and subbed off last term.	5
4	Port	A hamstring strain put an end to his game.	3

6	GWS	Hardly sighted in the second half, registering just four disposals.	4
7	Melb	Two goals, plenty of tackles and a great mark. Nice outing.	7
8	Syd	Stats modest but kicked one goal and set up another. Played minor role.	5
9	GCS	Clamped on a dozen tackles before leaving ground late with lower leg problem.	5

12	Adel	Laid eight tackles and contributed a goal.	4
13	Ess	Bobbed up with four goals including three in a third-term purple patch.	8
14	Coll	Fierce as usual up forward.	4
15	Frem	Two goals in his 100th game. An energiser bunny in attack.	7
16	Syd	Smith wore him pretty tight but ended with a goal and six tackles.	6
17	Carl	Sub. Helped himself to three goals to ensure he was involved in the party.	6
18	Rich	What he did was good but periods where he had no impact. Four tackles.	4
19	WCE	Lively in attack without having a major influence.	5
20	Geel	Taylor went to him at times in interesting match-up. A presence.	6
21	Port	Hard man to track but Pittard stuck to task well.	5
22		Ankle.
23	Carl	High-energy effort as always in attacking half. Kicked a goal.	5
QF	WCE	Rarely touched ball in dangerous positions. Had to defend more than attack.	3
SF	Adel	Pressure handy in first half then rewarded with gift goal in final term.	5
PF	Frem	Six tackles and every one of his 14 disposals hit a target. One score assist.	6
GF	WCE	More than just a defensive forward and generated scoring moves.	6

2014 Season

1	Bris	Tried to negate Adcock’s influence. Got his hands on the ball, but just 0.2.	4
2	Ess	Lively. Laid six tackles, had six inside-50s and kicked a goal.	7
3	Frem	Starred in first term and steady after that.	6
4	GCS	Tenacious as usual in forward half.	6
5	Geel	Laid eight tackles but only two inside-50s and no goals.	5
6	Rich	Tracked by Vlastuin and worked hard in low-key game.	5
7	StK	Fierce in applying forward pressure.	5
8	Syd	Mixed good with bad. Worked hard but often let himself down with poor use.	5
10	Port	Never stopped running, laid five tackles and had three clearances.	6
11	GWS	Struggled. Laid five tackles but lacked any spark offensively.	3
12	WCE	Didn’t have any real impact.	4
13	Carl	Quiet night both offensively and defensively. No goals, three tackles.	4
14	Coll	Took a brilliant pack mark and applied good pressure inside 50.	7

23	Coll	Ramsay wore him pretty tight but managed two goals and four tackles.	6

2013 Season

1	Geel	Got under guard for 19 first-half disposals and while faded he was among best.	7
2	WCE	Not a big game but did a couple of things..	3
3	Coll	Lively around the footy and developing into a critical pressure player.	5
4	Frem	Made one big error in goalsquare and was in and out of the game.	4
5	NM	Picked up by Mullett at first and didn’t have a big day.	3
6	Adel	His speed and tenacity make him an automatic inclusion.	7
7	Syd	Great first term helped set side on path to victory. Won 13 contested poss.	7
8	GWS	Sub came on in thread term and got amongst it in last term.	3
9	GCS	Couldn’t question his work-rate and bobbed up here and there.	4
10	Melb	Great game. Playing the small forward role brilliantly – 12 contested poss.	8
12	Carl	Had task on Simpson as a defensive forward but couldn’t contain him.	4

15	Geel	Great first half (12 disposals) then faded like a Chinese lounge suite.	5
16	Port	Five inside 50s and five clearances for the pocket rocket.	6
17	WB	Tried to make Cooney accountable, struggled after kicking an early goal.	4
18	Ess	Kept pressure on with four score assists, 11 cont poss and 10 tackles. Huge.	8
19	Rich	Great early (11 first-term disp) then Foley went to him and shut him out.	6
20	StK	Worked very hard all through.	6
21	Coll	Busy little worker all through.	6

PF	Geel	Limping badly with ankle second term, but fought on.	6

2012 Season

4	VFL	Got through OK but was rusty at times.	–
5	Syd	Came on in third term as sub for Gibson and only had a few touches.	2
6	StK	Pumped to snag a goal as Hawks blew game to bits in last quarter.	2
7	Melb	One Hawk who capitalised on chances with two goals in first half.	3
8	Frem	Matched on Duffield. Subbed off in third quarter.	3
9	Rich	Subbed in last quarter but game was already gone. Hard to blame him.	1
10	NM	Kicked three goals and ignited the team with his tackling and harassing.	7
11	Port	Forward pressure was intense, had five inside 50s and kicked a goal.	6
12	Bris	Active around goals and lively all day.	7
14	Carl	Not a big say in the game.	3
15	GWS	Not allowed to do much by some close checking defence.	4
16	WB	Shadow job on Murphy failed. First touch came late second term.	1

18	Ess	Busy little bee in attack and keen to grasp every opportunity.	6
19	Geel	Dangerous all night inside the forward 50. Made most of all his chances.	6

22	Syd	Bobbed up for two goals which was a handy contribution in tight affair.	5
