15 SANFL Found space only spasmodically, finishing with a relatively quiet 13 possessions.
16 SANFL Terrific line-breaking display in losing cause with 29 touches, six inside 50s and an early goal from long range.
17 SANFL Solid territory-covering display on the wing but couldn’t quell west’s runners late in the game.
18 SANFL Spritely performance on the wing with 22 disposals and plenty of metres gained.
19 Coll Good first game back for over a year, will be better for the run. 5

23 WCE A big game with 25 possessions and 1.2. But it was his 603m gained that proved telling. 7
QF GWS Handy contributor forward of centre in early going. Not a big stat collector, but played role. 5
PF Geel Couldn’t get into the team for most of year but got in and played like a star; 19 disposals and two goals. 7
GF Rich Struggled big time to impact the game. Won 12 effective disposals but rarely broke the lines. 2

2016 Season

1 NM Former Pie nailed a nice long goal but that was about only highlight. 3
2 Port Had the run-with role on Boak and did a great job. 6
3 Rich Provided run and a long kick on the outside. Nice contribution all afternoon. 7
4 Syd Showed his strengths with two goals, a set shot outside 50, and a left foot snap. 5
5 Haw Long kicking a feature when he unleashed it but half disposals were handballs. 6
6 Frem Five rebound-50s and two clearances, run off half back is vital to team balance. 5
7 WB Two inside-50s and few moments in which he really hurt the Dogs. 4
8 Geel Had easy chance to put Crows ahead in last term and blew it – momentum killer. 3
9 GCS Found plenty of space and team mates looked to utilise him. 6
10 GWS His run and carry through the midfield was exceptional on occasions. 6
11 StK Seven inside-50s and three scoring assists from the wing and halfback. 7
12 WCE Provided good run and delivered the ball inside 50 seven times. 6

2015 Season

2 Adel Subbed on early and still finding feet after a lengthy stint on the sidelines. 5
3 StK Strong all-round game from half back/wing. 6
4 Ess Claimed Anzac Medal with superb performance highlighted by 14 inside-50s. 9
5 Carl Showed great pace and penetrating kicking until he hurt hip and subbed off third. 6
6   Glute.  
7 Rich Won a bit of ball but Tigers were able to nullify him. 6
8 GCS Gathered a bit of the footy but his dash was curtailed. 4
9 NM Provided run in spurts but wasn’t a big factor. 4
10 Melb Quiet first half and Bucks had seen enough midway through third term. Subbed. 3
11 GWS Broke the lines but scruffy with kicking – especially in first half. 4
13 Frem Sub. Thrown in for final term and contributed a goal. Made a couple of errors. 1
14 VFL Gave customary run and carry to play a handy role.
15 VFL Good effort and broke lines with ball in hand. 19 possessions.
16 WCE Kicking radar way off and seems to have lost early-season confidence. 4
17 VFL Late omission from seniors and provided drive from defence.
18 Melb Looks down on confidence. No surprise to see him subbed out. 3
19 VFL Provided run and drive off a wing with penetrating kicking.
20 VFL Just 11 touches and struggled to get into the flow.
21 VFL Provided great dash with 30 disposals on the outside.
22 VFL Won 23 possessions on a wing and provided good drive.
23 VFL Restrained on the outside and only had 14 touches.

2014 Season

11 StK Sub came on early and used pace to break the lines. 6
12 Melb First-half rebounding was a feature when the side was under the pump. Solid. 7
13 WB One of the key reasons the Pies were in the game in the final term. 7
14 Haw Did a couple of nice things but absent for periods. 4
15 Carl Three inside-50s and three rebound-50s kept him involved. Tired late. 6
16 GCS His run was important, but under-utilised. 5
17 Ess Hardly seen early. Couldn’t get a clear run. 4
18 Adel Not his night. Only two disposals in first half not enough for a rebounder. 3

2013 Season

1   Senior emergency.  
2 Carl On early for Jolly and didn’t have the best evening. Lacked composure. 1
3 VFL Played fairly well off half back.
4 Rich Used his speed and found targets. Had an impact on result despite limited disposals. 5
5 Ess Used across half back and OK but didn’t get enough footy to be a real a factor. 4
6 StK Deployed defensively again and was handy with two goals. Improving type. 6
7 Frem Racked up 13 marks, linked well off half back and used the ball well. 7
8 Geel Did some nice things, kicked well and grabbed nine disposals in a tense final term. 6
9 Syd Plenty of touches in good start. Some mistakes but very good goal late. 5
10 Bris Provided great run and drive at half back. Looking a player. 7
11 Melb Inaccuracy spoiled his day (0.3). Handy linking at times but a lot to learn. 6
12 WB Plenty of good work. 5
14 Port The Pies’ best with seven rebounds out of the defensive 50. 8
15 Carl Rebounded well all night and a threat with his run and carry. 6
16 Adel Bobbed up at times to provide run from half back. 5
17 GCS Kicked a late goal to cap off a reasonable game. 6

2012 Season

1 Haw On late third term but looked like a deer in the headlights. 1
2 Rich On for injured Tarrant at quarter time. Won touches; still finding tempo. 4
3 VFL In and out of the game after a few weeks at AFL level.
4 Port Came on late third term with instant impact. 12 disposals and a goal. 3
5 Ess Likely to be headed back to VFL after one effective disposal in 70 mins. 1
7 Bris Got his fair share of touches after looking a little shaky at first. 5
8 VFL Copped a heavy knock early and ended in hospital.
10 VFL Not his best game in the midfield.
11 VFL Showed a cool head under pressure. Used the ball well.
13 VFL Had 18 possessions. Was one of the better performers.
14 VFL A handful for the Dolphins and played a big role in win.
15 VFL Used the ball well mostly and made good decisions.
16 VFL Ok in patches but needed to have a bigger impact.
17 Haw Pace of game found him out and didn’t impact with run or ball use. 2
18 GWS Provided some pace and six inside 50s. 5
19 StK Not a huge impact but workrate OK. Laid five tackles but no inside-50s. 3
20 Syd Showed terrific poise at half back in his ninth game of AFL football. 6
