Dream Team Profile |
2014 Digest: Recruited from West Coast on a two-year deal to fill the role vacated by the retiring Leigh Brown, Lynch’s first season in black and white was disappointing. He booted just nine goals and spent most of the second half of the season struggling with a back injury in the VFL. Will be well aware that his career is in the balance.
2014 NAB Cup: Had a run in VFL practice match on Friday, kicked two goals. Behind White in pecking order.

2013 Season
Played for : Collingwood
1 | NM | Strong marking presence in attack in first half. Played his role. | 5 |
2 | Carl | Forced to ruck for most of the day and was brave. 19 hit-outs a bonus. | 6 |
3 | Haw | One long goal but didn’t often get into dangerous positions. Two soft frees against. | 5 |
4 | Rich | Dragged down 14 marks and gave the side a huge lift when thrown into ruck. | 8 |
5 | Ess | All eight marks uncontested playing link-up game on ball. Another good contribution. | 7 |
6 | StK | Couple of nice marks but generally subdued. Never a threat close to goal. | 4 |
7 | Frem | Kept under wraps by Dawson and lacked usual impact in the ruck. | 3 |
8 | Geel | Had Taylor for company and apart from one goal was quiet. | 4 |
9 | Syd | Couldn’t get a sniff in first half as Swans had strange match-up of Rampe. | 3 |
10 | Bris | Returned to playing as forward/ruckman and just fair. Still not in great touch. | 4 |
11 | Melb | Kicked 1.3 and Ok at times but well held by Pedersen. | 5 |
12 | WB | Not significant early and less prominent later. | 4 |
14 | Port | Out of sorts forward, provided little support to Cloke. Far better when rucking. | 3 |
15 | Back. | ||
16 | Back. | ||
17 | VFL | Didn’t have the impact one would expect at this level. Conditions hurt. | – |
18 | VFL | Played mostly in the ruck and ended with 27 possessions. | – |
19 | Ess | After quiet start got going without setting world on fire. One goal. | 5 |
20 | Syd | Another quiet outing for the out-of-form veteran, rarely sighted. | 2 |
21 | Haw | Ineffective again and Pies must be worried about the two year deal they gave him. | 3 |
22 | WCE | Had two goals by quarter time then went right out of the game. | 5 |
23 | NM | Horrid day. Kicked the ball once in a game that was as open as the side has played. | 2 |
