2017 Season

Played for : Western Bulldogs

1 Coll Eased back and showed he'd lost none of his poise or kicking skill. Went forward in third term and set up two goals. 4
2 Syd Skipper kicked a goal and buzzed about. Steady without getting too carried away. Will continue to get better. 6
3 Frem His two goals showed his class across half-forward. 6
4 NM Skipper mixed good and bad but when it counted he was great with some drive from defence. Hit target with 21 of 24 disposals. 7
5 Bris Celebrated 300th game with a goal in third term. Got busy when game was one the line in the second half. 6
6 GWS Veteran started on Greene then got released. Okay but stats (21 disposals) probably overstated his impact on the game. 6
7 Rich Great rundown tackle showed veteran still a force. Marked well and created off half-back. 6
8   Soreness.
9 Geel Skipper made his presence felt at times with burst link play. Hit target with 19 of his 25 disposals. 7
10 StK Wasn’t having the greatest of days and it was made even worse when he hurt hamstring. 4

19 Ess Ageing warrior provided some pop from half forward and contributed 19 disposals and six inside-50s. 7
20 Bris Late inclusion. Used in defence, forward and on the wing. Made some smart decisions when the Dogs needed someone to stand up. 6
21 GWS Turned clock back with brilliant second-term goal and had a few other good patches but not enough in a beaten side; 18 touches. 6
22 Port Started forward then spent time on a wing. Quiet first half then stunned by Ebert bump in fourth quarter. 4
23 Haw Farewell match. Busy as a mosquito at a nudist colony early in the game and then flitted in and out. Great career. 6

10 GCS Played a defensive role on McKenzie and stopped his booming rebound. 6
11 Frem Classy with the ball. Gave the team the run they needed. 7
12 Bris Used in defence and was one of a few Dogs to have courage with ball in hand. 6
