1 GWS A tentative display from the acting captain, still won a game high nine clearances. 7
2 Haw Quiet by his standards in first half then lifted. Mark and goal in final term but any hope of a Hawk comeback in the bin. 7
3 Port Showdown medallist was superb with 31 possessions, including eight clearances, four inside-50’s and goal. 9
4 Ess There isn’t anything Rory Sloane can’t do on the footy field, wins contested footy, takes hangers and kicks goals regularly. 8
5 GCS Continued his fine season with a team high 10 tackles to go with his 30 possessions and a goal. 9
6 Rich Laid seven tackles in the third term alone, and finished hitting the scoreboard three times. 8
7 NM Unable to shake tag by Gibson. Just four touches in first half. Able to break free more in second half, but game was shot. 4
8 Melb Taken out of the game by Bernie Vince, didn’t get a lot of help from his teammates. Laid a game high 12 tackles. 4
9 Bris Withstood being harassed and physically bullied to show his doubters he can handle being tagged. 8
10 Frem Worked off the tag of Connor Blakely in the first term, spent some time on Nat Fyfe and won the battle. 8
11 Geel Tagged by Blicavs and while he worked hard he only managed 15 disposals. Six inside-50s and six clearances. 5
12 StK Is getting the hard tag every week, won plenty of free kicks but needs help from teammates to shake the tag. 4

14 Haw Needs to better coached and protected by teammates. Do something different, how about 10 mins at full forward to break the tag? 5
15 Carl Didn’t receive the hard tag as previous weeks, but still playing a bit gun-shy from what we saw earlier in the season. 6
16 WB No strong tag this game and it showed with a powerful performance in the midfield against the Bulldog hardnuts. 7
17 Melb Vince shadowed him and he again struggled. Then knocked out in fair tackle in third term. 3
18 Geel Came back from concussion to be close to best; 28 possessions and three goals was a monster performance. 8
19 Coll Well held once gain by the oppositions best tagger, was ok without being damaging. 4
20 Port Nine clearances, laid seven tackles had 10 inside-50’s and kicked a goal, back to his best. 8
21 Ess Closely tagged and sent a scare through Crow camp when limping in third quarter, but then ran game out. 6
22 Syd Super human performance from the spiritual leader, 14 tackles, nine clearances, five inside-50’s and a goal. 8
23 WCE A beast in congestion. He had 14 clearances among 38 possessions. 8

2 Port His bash and crash style took few prisoners and won plenty of more admirers. 6
3 Rich Two goals were superb, but so was his attack on the ball and willingness to compete. 8
4 Syd Crows best with 10 tackles, six clearances and six inside-50s. 8
5 Haw Fierce attack on the ball and one-touch handling set tone. Beautiful delivery. 8
6 Frem Crows’ best with eight tackles, four inside-50’s and clearances, and a great goal. 8
7 WB Didn’t have a clearance, one inside-50s and 11 effective disposals a quiet night. 5
8 Geel Superb committed performance, tackling and forcing the ball forward. Did everything. 9
9 GCS Usual quota of possessions and in and under the packs. 7

4 WB Copped a couple of heavy hits. Well below par. 3
5 Port Subbed out of the game with a calf injury. 4
6 GCS Subbed off as a precaution after an OK game. 5

2014 Season

1 Geel Work-rate good but impact not enormous despite 20 disposals. 12 tackles. 6
2 Port The acting captain gave it his all but it wasn’t enough. 7
3 Syd One of the few Crows who consistently threw his body on the line. 6
4 StK Saints couldn’t keep him out under control and constantly found space. 7
5 GWS Had seven inside 50s, laid four tackles and pushed forward for a goal. 7
6 WB Contrasting game to opponent Cooney. Did a lot of grunt work in tight. 6
7 Melb Hit the post in final term when a goal would have put the Crows in front. 6
9 Coll Competitive beast, eight tackles, six clearances and six inside-50s. 7
10 Carl Shadowed by Everitt and didn’t impact the game to the degree he can. 5
11 GCS Seven clearances, six inside-50’s, six tackles and three scoring assists. 7
12 Frem Predominantly used handball and tackled hard. 6
13 NM Works tirelessly, and always gets in the right positions to help his teammates. 7
14 Ess Tough when he needed to be. Laid nine tackles. 7

2 Bris Looked as if he had no opponent for most of the night, and revelled. 7

4 WB Had eight clearances, four inside and rebounds out of 50 and laid seven tackles. 8
5 Carl Battled gamely but found Ed Curnow a hard nut to crack. 6
6 Haw Tireless worker who goes about his business with a minimum of fuss. 8
7 GWS Contained to a reasonable level by Scully but still contributed. 5
8 StK Best player for Crows and covered a heap of ground. 8
9 NM Stats not huge not but played a role in the middle – eight contested possessions. 5
10 Frem Had a monster game, seven clearances and five tackles. Loves the wet stuff. 8
11 Syd Adelaide’s best and kept bobbing up with the ball. 7

2012 Season

2 WB Played his part in the midfield rotations and laid seven tackles. 6
3 Haw Quiet first half and not a big influence overall. 4

5 Port Great game from pocket dynamo, 27 disposals including 15 contested. 8
6 Syd Always in the thick of the action. Courageous and lively. 6
7 Geel Tough and hard. Helped set standard with a great first term. 7
8 Carl Helped set the tone with his attack on the ball early and kept it up all day. 7
9 Coll Tried hard all night to no avail. 6
10 Frem Best on ground. Had 33 possessions and kicked three goals. 9
12 StK Dangerous in first half then reined in. 6
13 NM First half stats belied his lack of influence. Lifted later on. 5
