2016 Season

1	Ess	Untroubled in defence. Spoiled everything that was in his vicinity.	5
2	Frem	Really solid defensive game. The Suns’ backline held up well.	6

15	StK	Regaining his confidence and made good decisions in defence.	6
16	Bris	Steady in defence and did the little things right.	5
17	WB	Fulfilled his role on Bulldogs’ resting rucks.	5

19	Melb	Had Dawes covered for most of the day. Starting to find some form.	6

1	Melb	Some of his spoiling was a highlight of a solid defensive performance.	6

2014 Season

1	PM	Played his first game back after an injury interrupted summer.	–
2	Frem	Spent most of his time on Mayne and Docker didn’t cut loose.	4
3	Bris	Mainly used in attack but had very little influence.	2
4	Haw	Picked up the talls resting forward and had little say in the game.	2
5	Melb	Great battle with Dawes who saved him by being inaccurate. Kept battling.	5
6	GWS	Uncustomary ruck role and acquitted himself well.	5
7	NM	Had a nightmare at times in the first half. A bit better after main break.	4
9	StK	Solid job in defence on Stanley.	5

12	Syd	Held Tippett goalless until the big Swan left the field with a knee injury.	6
13	WCE	Torched by Kennedy early and was shifted. Not his best outing.	2
14	Geel	Went to Kersten after he’d kicked a couple and kept him to one goal.	6
15	Haw	Low-key game in defence.	4
16	Coll	Switched to Cloke early and conceded only one goal despite glut of entries.	6
17	WB	Had the better of Redpath but wasn’t a factor going forward.	6
18	Bris	Forced into the ruck with Smith's injury which he struggled with.	2
19	StK	Reasonable job on Stanley.	5
20	Carl	Worked over Casboult in first half and then quietened a rampaging Waite.	7
21	Port	Didn’t have a kick, but kept Schulz to one goal in what was a win for the team.	6
22	Ess	Super performance on Carlisle. Kept him to three marks and two goals.	8
23	WCE	Kennedy kicked eight, which will leave bitter taste in his mouth over summer.	2

1	StK	Made enough contests with Riewoldt to claim a fair night.	6
2	Syd	Unable to have any impact in an incredibly quiet afternoon.	2
3	Bris	Got something of a lesson from Lions skipper Brown.	2
4	Port	Moved forward for team balance and kicked two goals.	6
5	GWS	Had important job on Cameron and performed adequately.	5
6	Frem	Again used in attack and defence, but couldn't find any space.	4
7	Melb	Had the job on Dawes and defended stoutly. One of the Suns’ important players.	7
8	WB	Dominated in defence and continues his rapid improvement.	8
9	Haw	Backed himself against Franklin and on top early. Hawk star came back.	6
10	Geel	Great game. Battled Hawkins and kept him to two goals.	7
11	NM	Kept Petrie out of the contest after he had kicked two early goals.	7
12	Ess	Had Hurley and Daniher at times and did an admirable job.	6
14	Adel	Broke even in his match up with Jenkins.	5
15	Bris	Had his hands full with Jonathan Brown yet far from disgraced.	6
16	Rich	Had Riewoldt’s measure until big hit by Arnot saw him subbed out with chest injury.	4
17	Coll	Looked to suffer injury, but recovered. Good battle with Cloke throughout.	6

19	WCE	Kennedy torched him early and he didn’t have much of an impact when moved.	2
20	Melb	Good in defence and made significant difference when pushed forward in third quarter.	6
21	Port	Coming into his own at centre half back and kept Westhoff to two goals.	6
22	StK	Started OK again on Riewoldt but was burnt off later.	4
23	GWS	Fascinating battle with Cameron with the honours shared.	5

11	StK	Did OK in contest with Riewoldt early but then overwhelmed.	5
12	NM	Looked composed in defence before limping off with ankle injury.	5
