2013 Digest:   Returns for a third season on the rookie list thanks largely to a series of solid performances in last year’s VFL finals series. Despite turning 26 in April the former basketballer still has a way to go in football development and will see plenty of game time in the NAB Cup.

2013 NAB Cup:   Been solid in the VFL but not sighted in the senior ranks. Expected to step up in VFL role.

2013 Season

1	VFL	Struggled a touch in defence.	–

3		Injured.
4		Soreness.
5	VFL	Struggled a bit down back after injury layoff.	–
6	VFL	Better game down back. Solid throughout.	–
7	VFL	Bye.	–
8	VFL	Battled a bit in defence but pushed forward for a goal.	–
9	VFL	Pushed down to kick another goal but under pressure down back.	–
10	VFL	Helped rebound the ball well out of the Cats defence.	–

13	VFL	Started forward in a surprise move. Kicked the opener.	–
14	VFL	Used up forward again and provided a good leading target. Two goals.	–
15	VFL	Used up forward again and did well with four goals.	–
16	VFL	Bye.	–
17		Great workrate up forward and rewarded with four goals.
18	VFL	Kicked a goal and provided good defensive pressure up forward.	–
19	VFL	Kicked a goal and provided a decent foil to Walker, Kersten.	–
20	VFL	Well beaten by Markovic in Cats forward line.	–
21	VFL	Kicked four goals to be a matchwinner in the front half.	–

2012 Season

Played for : Geelong

1	VFL	Made a few late errors but did OK.	–
2	VFL	Improved effort. Strong over the ball at times.	–
3	VFL	Attacked the game well from defence. OK.	–
4	VFL	Played key back in the absence of Gillies. Toiled away.	–
5	VFL	Continues to develop as a key position player.	–
6	VFL	Struggled down back against the Casey talls.	–
10	VFL	Defended fairly well but didn’t provide usual drive.	–
11	VFL	Had the task on Galea and had his hands full.	–
13	VFL	Rebounded well from defence on occasions. OK.	–
14	VFL	Alternated between the ruck and up forward. OK.	–
15	VFL	Did a few nice things but was fairly sedate.	–
16	VFL	Started down back and did a fair job.	–
18	VFL	Defended well and spent time in the ruck. Good effort.	–
19	VFL	Tried hard and had a good contest with his opponent.	–
