2017 Season

1 Syd KFC has a bit to answer for given processed chook could be behind his size, but great debut. Two goals and seven clearances. 7
2 Frem In just his second game given the task to run with Nat Fyfe, was not overawed. 6
3 Adel Suffered a knock early with a collision with Richard Douglas, played out the game well. 5
4 GWS Quiet evening with just a handful of touches. Gloss of first few weeks has worn off and reality is setting in. 2
5 Carl Won eight clearances despite Cameron Polson sitting in his back pocket. 5
6 Bris Booted two goals and was a presence around the stoppages. 6
7 WCE Not winning as much footy as earlier in the season but making his presence felt with some huge tackling. 4
8 GCS Sore after taking a brave mark in defence in second term. Battled on and laid some good tackles. 5
9   Bye.
10 Geel Showed brute strength at times to break tackles and will himself to ball. Faded a tad but effort was first class for first-year player. 6
11 Haw More muscle than a seafood buffet the kid…and loves to use it. Hard to believe he is a teenager. Processed chook? 7
12 Ess Made more adjustments to his hair than he had touches in first half. Nice goal in third quarter 3
13 Bris Back to the form which saw him win a Rising Star Nomination earlier in the season, kicking goals and crunching packs. 6
14 Coll Youngster spent time on Pendlebury early but struggled to contain him. Did his bit and showed his strength on occasions. 6
15 Rich Two goals from the bustling midfield dynamo, his attack on the footy and the man is tremendous and fair. 7
16 WCE Hurt his shoulder but fought on bravely. His attack on the ball was first class. 5
17 NM Flied the flag early with some crunching tackles and getting in the face of his Kangaroo opponents. 7
18 Melb Tried to charge through early and was caught often. Impact waned when teammates lifted. 5
19 StK Tangled with Dunstan early and the wet suited his strength. Not a big game. 4
20 Adel The toil of a long season may have taken its toll, despite that he should be the outright favourite for the NAB Rising start award. 4
21   Rested.
22 WB Not his best outing, but tried hard. Was sent to Macrae after half time to try to quell his influence. Laid 12 tackles. 5
23 GCS Six inside-50’s, laid five crunching tackles and won four free kicks for his team. 5
EF WCE Wasted some good chances forward of centre in early going but tackled hard all night. 6
