2017 Digest:   Rewarded with a game in JLT opener against Eagles then when big guns came back he got flicked to the NEAFL.

2 GCS Late inclusion for Patton and was a handy contributor in the front half. 5
3 NM Played an opportunist’s game as the second tall target, rewarded with two goals. 6
4 Port Kicked two goals and helped keep GWS close at stages. Flies under the radar but playing a solid role. 6
5 Syd Showed trademark determination and knows his limitations. Did his bit. 5
6 WB At one stage an all-points bulletin was sent out given he was unsighted from start to finish. Ended the game injured. 1
7   Hamstring.  
8 Coll Managed to concuss himself when applying front-on tackle in second quarter and took no further part. 1
9 Rich Some important touches late and used his bulk to advantage at times. 5
10 WCE Flashed in and out. Had 13 touches. 4
11 Ess Used in front half and was a bit part player. 3
12 Carl Given defensive role on Docherty but found that a tough ask. Given he wasn’t getting ball himself it wasn’t a great day. 2

14 Bris Not only did a brilliant job numbing Zorko but was work well the other way and land a couple of goals including a 50m bomb. 8
15 Geel Got injured early and looked out of sorts. Fumbled at times and panicked when he got it; 11 possessions. 3
16 Haw Unsighted. Six touches and only two tackles. A depth player might struggle when GWS have a fit list. 1

2016 Season

1   Played in NEAFL trial against Sydney.  
2 NEAFL Strong outing to end with 20 possessions and four goals.
3 NEAFL Provided a target in attack with three goals and competed strongly on the deck.
4 NEAFL Dangerous in the front half with 1.3, but also drifting up into midfield.
5 NEAFL A one-man band in attack after promotion top senior list. Six goals.
6 NEAFL The Giants’ best avenue to goal with 3.3 but pinged a hammy before the end.
7   Hamstring.  
8 NEAFL Quieter than previous weeks but teammates picked up the slack.
9 NEAFL Did his bit in big win with two goals and 17 disposals.
10   Senior emergency.  
11 NEAFL Very good again with four goals and plenty of tackles. Showed great leadership.
12 Syd Serviceable in first game since 2013. Kicked a freakish goal in last term. 4
13 Ess Kicked a goal but generally not a factor playing wing/half forward. 4
14 NEAFL Responded well to demotion – 11 contested possessions, eight tackles and two goals.
15 NEAFL Bye.
16 NEAFL Half (11) of his 22 touches resulted in inside-50s in win over Southport.
17 Bris Struggled to get involved. Collected almost half of his 13 disposals in last term. 4
18 Port Four inside-50s and a goal. 4
19 Rich Didn’t waste any of his chances in forward line with a cheeky three goals. 6
20 GCS Not a lot of the footy though bobbed up with a goal and two assists. 4
21 NEAFL Could have easily kicked a bag in front of goal, but ended with 4.4.
22 NEAFL Lively all day in attacking half, setting up a number of goals and booting 3.6.
23 NEAFL Bye.
QF NEAFL Hard worker in close where the game was won and lost. Laid 11 tackles.

2013 Season

1 NEAFL Strong game in the midfield in narrow defeat.
2 NEAFL Battled hard all day against a strong reserves outfit.
3 StK Sub came on at half time and had a few touches. 3
4 Melb Lacks polish but not grunt. Had a go throughout. 5
5 GCS Looked in deep trouble when Ablett moved onto him as full forward. 3
6 Ess Laid seven tackles and played his heart out. Skills let him down at crucial times. 6
7 Adel Nightmare on Lynch and also got crunched at one stage. 3
8 NEAFL Worked hard to try and stem the flow going Brisbane’s way.
9 NEAFL Best for the Giants up forward four goals.
10 NEAFL Chipped in with three goals to play a strong role.
11 Geel Provided a presence and laid a team-high 11 tackles. 5
12 Port Kept chugging away but was never a major factor. 4
14 NM Ran with Wells in parts but seems to get thrown around a lot. Little offensively. 3
15 WB Couldn't really get himself into the game against his old side. 4

19 NEAFL Used his strong body well around the contests.
20 NEAFL Chipped in with a goal and had some decent patches of play.

2012 Season

2 NEAFL Good effort and should come under senior consideration.
3 NEAFL One of the better players once again, getting closer.
4 NEAFL Featured prominently in the midfield. Two goals.
5 WB Got better as the game went on against his former side. 5
6 Carl Subbed on third term but didn’t impact. Made some fundamental errors. 1
7 NEAFL Great game on ball and also kicked a goal.
8 Bris Nothing of note. 4
9 Ess Reasonable game off half back by the tough defender. 6
10 Geel Former Dog only touched the ball six times in final three quarters. 3
