2017 Season

1 Geel Horror game against former club. Looked nervous, fluffed marks and fumbled his way through the night. 2
2 Port Made some impact in the third term goal and contested marking. 5
3 WB Kicked two goals – one from a handball in the square – and found his confidence. 5
4 Melb Struggled until final term when gathered a handful of key touches that were able to help keep Dees at bay. 4
5 NM Kicked the winning goal with a great snap. If he played in front, he’d get more chances. 5
6 WCE Barely sighted in the first half. Kicked two goals in the third term. 4
7 Ess His best game. Kicked 2.3 and set up another goal. Moved well and was dangerous. 7
8 Rich Best game for the club. Kicked two goals, 11 marks and provided an option across half forward. 7
9 Carl Did well again. Kicked two goals and provided a target. 6
10 Adel The footy didn’t get there often enough but when it did Kersten offered very little. 3
11 Coll Struggled to get into the match. 3
12 Bris Never looked comfortable and too easily pushed off ball. Well beaten by Gardiner. 3

14 Geel Former Cat couldn’t get into the game at all with Kolodjashnij on his wheel. Two behinds for the day. 1
15 WAFL Kicked two goals but only had six possessions. Needs to do more.
16 NM Booted the two goals, but wasn’t sighted in between them. Just eight touches. 4
17 WCE Battled. Needs to compete a lot harder. 3
18 Haw Kicked two goals and spent time in defence too. A big step forward. 6
19 GWS Three first half goals were huge. Finally made himself a presence and his work rate was excellent when moving up the ground. 7
20 GCS Kicked two goals. He’s improved a lot in recent weeks. 6
21 Syd Deserves a Logie for his performance as the invisible man. 1

2016 Season

1 Haw Had a defensive job on Gibson for long periods. Good early then faded. 4
2 GWS Battled to influence game and when had the chance he missed a simple set shot late in game. 2
3 Bris Three goals all came in the final term in a timely confidence booster. 6
4   Calf.  
5 Port Chimed in with two goals, one from a nice mark. Modest stats but played his role. 4
6 GCS Huge confidence booster with four goals. Provided another target and looked like he wanted ball. 7
7 WCE Best game of career: three goals, eight inside-50s and nine marks. Looking better each week. 7
8 Adel Two first-half goals and set up another. Ended night with three. Handy. 7
9 Coll Run of form came to an end but did show some courage at times. No goals. 3
10 Carl Couldn’t get into the game at all up forward. No goals, which is a worry. 2
11 GWS Kicked 2.2 from eight kicks in a reasonable return to form after two quiet ones. 6
12 NM Horrible first half then came to life with three third-term goals to spark side. 6
13 WB Failed to get into the game at all but one act of courage in defence earned respect. 2
14 StK Couldn’t get into the game at all. Four marks and one goal. One tackle. 2
16 VFL Four goals to go with fiver marks, seven inside-50s and five tackles. Cats’ best.
17 Frem Stats modest but helped set up a goal through courage. Got to keep playing him. 4
18 Adel Great first half when game at its hottest. Faded slightly but played a role. 5
19 VFL Couldn’t get into the game at all up forward. One effective kick for the day.
20 VFL Dangerous with a couple of goals early but sat out second half as a precaution.
21 Rich Couldn’t get into the game to any great degree. Five marks, no shots at goal. 3
22 Bris Didn’t take opportunity. Kicked a goal late but for most part quiet. 3
23 VFL Two goals from six marks. Played a role but certainly didn’t star.

2015 Season

3 VFL Kicked three goals in a good battle with McMahon.

5 Rich Inaccuracy cost him a potential three-goal haul. Ended with one. 3
6 Coll Quiet game up forward. Didn’t hit the scoreboard and three marks. 3
7 Syd Got involved at times but missed his chances in front of goal. Five marks. 3
8 Carl Best game for Cats. Pressure great and rewarded with two goals. 7
9 WCE Couldn’t get into the game at all. Needs to make most of opportunities. 2
10 Ess Got going late in second term but subbed out with hammy twinge at half time. 2
11 Port Sub. On early to replace Kelly. Two goals in second term. 4
12 Melb Two goals but well beaten. Must work harder at ground level. 3
15 VFL Kicked two important goals in wet. 10 possessions.
16 WB Stats modest but pressure and intensity better than previous efforts. 4
17 GWS Quiet day. Gets into some good positions but appears to lack confidence. 3
18 Bris Gave away three goals but quiet for long periods. One kick, four marks. 3

18 GWS Struggled with Mohr on his hammer. Hit post with only set shot at goal. 2

5 VFL Kicked a few long goals and added a lot tot he forward half.
6 VFL Kicked six goals. Starred up forward without much help.
8 VFL Beaten by a better opponent but good learning lesson.
10 VFL Kicked another four goals and is developing well.
11 VFL Competed well up forward and provided a target.
13 VFL Battled hard up forward but wet conditions didn’t suit.
15 VFL Not his best outing.
16 VFL One goal and presented fairly well.
18 VFL Kicked three goals and got better as the game wore on.
19 VFL Kicked a goal and presented well up forward.
20 VFL Kicked five goals and looks a real player of the future.
22 VFL In and out of the game. Not his best outing this year.
