1 Melb Looked good in early stages in attack and pressured opposition, but missed a couple of gettable shots. 5
2 WCE His marking was a feature. Took nine grabs including two which were contested. 7
3 Bris Another forward who couldn’t find the big sticks despite always looking dangerous in the air. Ended with 1.3. 5
4 Coll Strong presence up forward – eight marks for two goals a telling contribution. 5
5 Geel Two goals but for long periods he was not in the game. Six kicks and five marks not a big haul. 4
6 Haw Booted first goal and was lively throughout forward of centre. Three goals and handed a few off. Gave Stratton fits. 7
7 GWS One goal and two behinds from 16 touches. Didn’t star but was best of three tall Saints forwards. 5
8 Carl Took some vital contested marks in the last term but scored just the one major, after destroying the Blues in 2016. 5
9 Syd He and Riewoldt were only two Saint forwards who looked like taking a mark. Chances limited. 5
10 WB Well contained by the tight-checking Morris. 3

20 WCE Strong marking brought two goals, but was generally kept under tight rein by McKenzie. 4
21 Melb Starved for opportunities early on, but was important in the St Kilda revival. Ended with two goals. 5
22 NM One grab marking came to the fore especially late in the day and finished with handy three goals. 6
23 Rich Couldn’t get into the game at all up forward until second half. Two goals from seven kicks. 5

2016 Season

1   Played in VFL trial against Box Hill Hawks.

6 Melb Best game in the Saints colours with five goals. Back to back goals set course in third. 7
7 NM Made the most of his chances and three goals showed growing confidence. 5
8 WCE Ball hardly came near him and while he tried very hard, couldn’t get into it. 2
9 Ess Gaining confidence from stringing games together. Three goals was good reward. 6
10 Frem In middle two quarters was the main tall forward. Ran hard and bagged three goals. 7
11 Adel Tried to present for the ball and showed admirable endeavour in barren attack. 5
12 Carl Marked confidently, covered ground and bagged five. Saints best forward so far. 8
14 Geel Taylor made him earn everything. Missed easy shot late which was unusual. 4
15 GCS Kept pushing up to present a target but wasn’t immune from poor disposal theme. 5
16 Ess Hard working, strong marking and accurate kicking made him Saints’ best forward. 7
17 Melb Again St Kilda’s target forward and a four-goal return was reward for high work-rate. 7
18 WB Got Saints going with instant goal and kept presenting. 5
19 NM Racked up mileage against close-checking Firrito. Not immune from kicking woes. 4
20 Carl Another bag of five goals was just reward for strong work-rate and quality leads. 8
21 Syd On Rampe, couldn’t break away as he has in recent weeks. 3
22 Rich Kept presenting and contesting in attack. 5
23 Bris Only a couple of goals but covered lots of ground to create a target. 4

2015 Season

1 GWS Some good hit-up leads and with two goals looks worth persevering. 4
2 GCS Kicking for goal let him down but plenty to like about his endeavour. 4
3 Coll Did a couple of good things but one howler in miskick to Cloke. 3
4 Carl On Tuohy and rarely sighted. 2
5 Ess Covered ground in attack but not a big day. 3
6   Senior emergency.  
7 VFL Booted three goals and should return to seniors next week.
8 WCE Came in for Riewoldt. Has to do more but trying hard. 3
9 VFL Quiet afternoon but presented well at half forward.
10 VFL Dangerous in attack with 2.3 from 14 possessions.
11 Melb Contested hard but needs to win more of the ball in attack. 4
13 WB Covered a lot of ground and marked strongly, but his man Wood was crucial. 5
14 Ess Started well and covered ground to be a good target. 6
15 GWS Quiet day in attack and not a factor. 2

17 VFL Only seven touches, but marked well and kicked three goals.
18 Port Sub came on at half time and had a few touches. 2
19 VFL Pressed claims for AFL recall with four crucial goals.
20 VFL Starred in attack with five goals in come from behind win.
21 Geel Started with nice lead for a goal. Strong hands and shows promise. 5

1 PM Opposed to Plowman and had his colors lowered.
2 NEAFL Didn’t make the most of his chances.
3 NEAFL Well held by McCarthy although he ended with two goals.
4 NEAFL Kicked eight goals. In the frame for senior selection.
5 NEAFL Eight last week, quieter with two, but contributed well.
6 NEAFL Kicked three and was the dominant forward on the ground.
7 NEAFL Bye.
8 NEAFL Best forward on the ground. Kicked four goals.
9 NEAFL Kicked four, but stuck behind the likes of Franklin and Tippett.
10 NEAFL Bye.
11 NEAFL Very good, kicked four goals again.
12 NEAFL Continued stellar form, 22 disposals and 3.5.
13 NEAFL Continued stellar form, kicked three.
14 NEAFL Bye.
15 NEAFL OK until half time, before rested as senior emergency

1 NEAFL Slow start but improved as game wore on. Three goals.
2 NEAFL Another strong game up forward. Goalkicking a highlight.
3 NEAFL Kicked 3.3 and took some strong marks on the lead.
4   Rested.  
5 NEAFL Bye.
6   Pushed up the ground but couldn’t impact the scoreboard.  
7 NEAFL Booted five goals and was a constant threat up forward.
8   Hamstring.  
9 NEAFL Worked hard in the midfield but unable to hit the scoreboard.
10 NEAFL Presented strongly and took some great marks. Good effort.
11 NEAFL Kicked two goals and worked hard up the ground. Good effort.

14 NEAFL Worked hard up forward to provide a target. Tackled hard too.
15 NEAFL Kicked five goals to continue to press his claims for a debut.
