4 Geel Nearly got arrested for trespassing he was that quiet. Had twice as many tackles (four) as he did kick (two). 1
5 WCE Confidence-boosting mark and tackle early. Competed hard all day and ended with a well-earned three goals. 7
6 StK Started forward but also used in ruck. Did a few nice things but not enough. 3
7 Melb Great game highlighted by five of his 10 marks taken in contested fashion. Added two goals to ice best game of year. 8
8 Bris Was moved back in the second half after looking unconvincing forward. Completely shut down Schache. 5

11 VFL Booted three goals and was important in attack in a topsy-turvy contest.
12 GCS Quiet early then came to life in final term with two goals that spurred team back into the game. 6

14 Adel Didn’t find a lot of the footy but his speed and height worried the Crows and was rewarded with two goals. 5
15 Coll Gangly forward chimed in with two goals from limited opportunities. Nearly took two screamers. 4
16 GWS When he gets a run and jump looks good. But one mark for the afternoon when Gunston was moved to halfback wasn’t enough 3
17 Geel Couldn’t get into the game at all up forward. One goal from three kicks. 2
18 Frem Quiet. Kicked a goal in the final term. 3
19 Syd Strong performance with a goal and 16 disposals. 6
20 Rich Rangy red-head (or is it Caribbean gold?)…whatever it is it was hardly sighted for the day. 3
21 NM Struggled to have much of an impact. Maybe feeling it towards the end of the season? 3

23 WB Played as a key defender and floated across for a handful of nice marks. Kicking and decision-making needs work. 6

2016 Season

1   Rested.  
2   Played in VFL trial against Casey.  
3 VFL Great work ethic in the front half to present a target. Kicked three goals.
4 StK Wasn’t a big factor but bobbed up for two handy goals in the end. 4
5 Adel Surprisingly moved to Walker in second term and did a fair job in defensive role. 6
6 GWS Played in defence opposed to Patton and then Lobb. Did good job on General. 4
7 Rich Picked up by Bachelor initially and not significant. 3
8 Frem Didn’t win a heap of it in attack but definitely progressing with his football. 5
9 Syd Had big troubles trying to hold ground in contests with Grundy. 3
10 Bris Failed to register a single tough in the first half. Tried hard at both ends after half time. 3
11 Melb Marked well early and ended with two goals. Showed something again in attack. 5
13 NM Took nice grabs and continues to edge forward in development. 4
14 GCS Quiet up forward. Four marks and two inside-50s but no goals. 3
16 VFL Limited impact in forward half. Clunked a solid contested mark and converted the goal.
17 VFL Three goals from nine marks (three contested) was a handy afternoon.
18 Rich Struggled to get into the game. One mark roaming around up forward. 1
19 Carl Hardly noticed. Failed to make an impact in the forward half. 2
20 Melb Hardly sighted. Two marks and one goal. Might be due for a spell in VFL. 2
21 VFL Marked very well on occasions but missed a few shots. Booted three goals.
22 VFL Took 10 marks and kicked two goals to do his bit in the front half.
23 VFL Barely sighted all afternoon. Just eight touches and goalless.

1 Bris Kicked his first goal and didn’t look out of place before being subbed. 3
2 Ess Hardly sighted first half (one handball). Set up Puopolo goal in final term. 2
3 VFL Held goalless after being dropped from senior team.
4 VFL Struggled to get into the game.
5 VFL Lead hard in attack and made the most of his chances.
6 VFL Presented well in attack and took some great marks.
7 VFL Kicked two goals in big Box Hill win. Solid.
8 VFL Bye.
9 VFL Took some good marks in attack. Continues to impress.
10 VFL Presented well without getting a lot of ball. Kicked a goal.

12 VFL Struggled to have an impact in tough conditions.
13 Carl Couple of nice marks but subbed out late in third term. 2
14 VFL Presented well in the front half without being dominant.
