1	GCS	Booted a first quarter goal but did little else throughout the match, finishing with just the 10 possessions.	3
2	Ess	Spilled several marks in first half but notably picked up his game after long break	4

4	Rich	Used in attack and on the wing and did a few notable things but possibly not enough for a player in his sixth season.	4

5	WB	19 possessions but they were often wayward and didn’t hit the target. Not his best night.	5
6	Syd	Soldiered on although downside is that he failed to kick a goal in an attacking role.	6
7	Port	Dropped two marks in the third term which would have led to shots on goal.	6
8	Coll	Tried to get into the game by running hard at packs. Overall disappointing.	4
9	Melb	Kicked three goals, including two in the second term to be leading goalkicker.	6
10	Haw	A real positive up forward with three of his four goals coming in the second term.	6

6	Bris	Among Carlton’s best. Attacked when he could and won plenty of ball.	7
7	GWS	Battled hard but wasn’t a major factor in midfield or up forward.	4

9	Syd	Worked hard to be a link player and never stopped trying. Among best.	6
10	Adel	Work-rate huge but let himself down with poor disposal too often.	5

17	WB	More than useful debut from Morningside product. Kicked goal in second.	6
