2013 Digest:   At the start of last year he looked poised to secure a place in the senior side but he spent the greater part of the year in the VFL. A rover with running power, he needs to develop more reliability in his kicking. Running capacity has improved and he is fitter.

Played for : St Kilda

1	PM	One of the Zebras best in midfield against Essendon.	–
2	VFL	Couldn’t take a trick. Mark it down as “one of those days”.	–
3	VFL	Solid game with 21 touches in midfield.	–
4	VFL	Improved game with 22 touches and two goals.	–
5	VFL	Competed well in the midfield. 23 possessions and a goal.	–
6	VFL	Big day with 31 possessions. Blues couldn’t stop him.	–
7	VFL	Bye.	–
8	VFL	Played his role in the midfield. Pushed forward for two goals.	–
9	VFL	Bye.	–
10	VFL	Had 19 possessions but was somewhat subdued by his standards.	–
11	VFL	Slightly down with 18 disposals, but worked hard.	–
12	VFL	18 possessions, but was extremely influential in the last quarter.	–
13	VFL	Battled on gamely but had few teammates with him.	–

4	VFL	Worked hard throughout. A terrier around the packs.	–
5	VFL	Zipped around and gave plenty of drive.	–
6	VFL	Barreled in hard all day and used ball well in transition.	–
7	VFL	Good worker in tight and used the ball well.	–
8	VFL	25 possessions in the midfield. Strong game.	–
11	VFL	Zipped around and gave plenty of spark and drive.	–
12	VFL	Accumulated the ball well, tried to drive the ball forward.	–
13	VFL	Had 18 possessions. Zipped in and out.	–
14	VFL	Worked hard in the midfield to get the Zebras going.	–
16	VFL	Had 18 touches to be a serviceable performer.	–
17	VFL	Better outing than last week with 27 possessions.	–

20	Melb	Sub came on early for Riewoldt. Had to adjust to tempo after a while in VFL.	3
