2017 Digest:   Suffered calf injury early in pre-season that has nagged him throughout. Missed huge training time, which is a concern.

1	Ess	Pick of the ruckman although not a dominant force.	5

7	NEAFL	Had the better of Swans’ rucks in duel in the middle. Steady without starring.	–
8	GWS	Battled manfully in the ruck opposed to Mumford, finishing with 32 hit-outs and five clearances.	5

10	WCE	Lost the ruck but fought hard when the ball hit the ground. Laid nine tackles.	6
