2017 Season

Played for : Geelong

1 Frem Good effort in defence. Didn't make any glaring mistakes and attacked the ball with some vigour. 7
2 NM Not as good as previous week. Just eight effective disposals and decision-making was off on occasions. 3
3 Melb Disposal lets him down too often and to make matters worse he gives away free kicks when caught one-on-one….and he’s slow. 2
4 Haw Struggling until a big hit by Gibson just before half-time ended his day with concussion. 1
5   Concussion.
6 VFL Didn’t always use the ball as well as he can, but had 29 touches and was fairly influential.
7 VFL One of the better Cats on the day. 27 possessions, eight marks and five inside-50s.
8 VFL Used down back and through midfield. Okay without being overly influential.
9 VFL Big ball winner in back half and through middle. Used the ball well by foot too.
10   Senior emergency.
11 VFL Strong four-quarter performer in loss to the Seagulls. Putting his hand up for a recall.
12   Bye.
13 VFL Going well until injured shoulder and now faces a lengthy stint on the sidelines.
14 VFL Collarbone.
15   Collarbone.
16   Collarbone.
17   Collarbone.
18   Collarbone.
19   Shoulder.
20 VFL Good enough on return from injury with 19 possessions.
21 VFL Strong game again. Important when Richmond made a push for victory.
22 VFL A rebounding machine in defence. 19 touches – 18 of them kicks – and seven rebounds.
23 VFL Helped the Cats back six stand firm when Essendon pressed hard. Good.

10   Eye.
11 GWS Defensively OK but offered very little by way of offensive ball movement. 3
12 NM Gave Nahas a bath. Kept him to two kicks and no score. Got involved offensively late. 6
