2016 Season

1 GWS Limited impact against his former club playing on a wing with 13 touches. 4
2 Ess Kicked to 50/50s far too often when better options were available. 3
3 NM Not his best day in midfield or across half forward. Made a few errors by foot but tackled hard. 5
4 Coll Racked up possessions at half back and laid team-high nine tackles. Efficiency down a tad. 8
5 Rich Got in the face of the Tigers all night and backed up with steady play. Handy. 5
6 StK Ran hard and was one of the better performed Demons. 6
7 GCS Led the way at the stoppages with eight clearances, and also seven tackles. 8

1 StK Drew ire of Saints’ fans after crude bump on Riewoldt late. Handy effort. 6
2 Melb Tracked Garlett and shut him out after half time. 6
3 Syd Not much went right for the defender who will need to bounce back. 3
4 GCS Battled hard and did all the gritty things a good team needs. 6
5 WCE Laid five tackles but little influence as the backline was under pressure. 5
6 Haw Found it difficult containing the hard-running Smith. 3
7 Carl Tagged Judd then released when GWS had game well in hand. 6
8 Adel Strong in contested situations and pressed forward for handy goal. 6
9 WB In faces as usual but limited effect. 3
10 Bris Followed Zorko and had hands full at times. 4
11 Coll Had Crisp at times and had a dip but not his best day. 4

1 Syd Usual pressure with tackles but not a big impact on game. 3
2 StK Busy little player and was good at times. 5
3 Melb Always busy and hungry for the ball. 7
4 WB Did well in a few contests and had a good battle with Stevens. 6
5 Adel Displayed great evasive skills but a passenger for long periods. 4
6 GCS Activated sub in third quarter and struggled to get into contest. 2
7 NEAFL Played a role in Giants easy win over Ainslie.
8 NEAFL One of the Giants best with 25 touches and a goal.

10 NEAFL Giants best with 30 touches, three goals, eight tackles.
11 NEAFL Well down on the heights of last week.
12 NEAFL Down last week brilliant again this week, with 36 touches.
13 Bris Stuck close to Zorko and drove him to distraction. 6

1 Syd Did some good things at times but still searching for consistency. 3
2 Port Read play well to gather a share of the footy. 5
3 StK Good contest with Milne and had his share of it. 6
4 Melb Byrnes proved a handful, but battled hard. Came off with a limp late. 5
5 GCS Sub came on at three-quarter time. Crunched late but then kicked good goal. 3
6 Ess A late inclusion. Had his hands full with Davey who was far too nimble. 3
7 NEAFL Struggled to make an impact. Disappointing day.

1 Syd Wholehearted kid worked strongly for four quarters for 27 touches. 7
2 NM Shifted on to the rampant Harvey and did as well as anyone could. 6
3 WCE Did a good job down back on Hill and collected 27 touches. 7
4 Adel Wet and slippery conditions didn’t suit his game; was OK. 5
5 WB Ball magnet who keeps finding the footy. 7
6 Carl Struggled a little on previous week’s effort but kept battling all day. 5
7 GCS One of his quieter games for the year, looks a player and will bounce back. 3
9 Ess Another solid defensive effort with four tackles and 85 per cent efficiency. 6
10 Geel Didn’t have an impact of note down back but certainly didn’t disgrace himself. 4
12 Rich Even effort highlighted by good disposal – laid eight tackles. 6
13 Melb Kicked a superb goal but little else in one his quiet games of the year. 3
