1 Coll Early goal flattened the Pies cheersquad. Involved throughout, the most important tall on the ground. 6
2 Syd Three goals in opening half then missed a soda to make it four. Very quiet after half time – 7 disposals. 6
3 Frem Worked up the ground after struggling against Hamling inside 50. Didn’t score. 4
4 NM Veteran celebrated 250th game but didn’t have a lot to celebrate other than his team won. Ended day injured after hit by Ziebell. 2

9 Geel Third-term goal only real highlight of a night he looked off the pace after time out with rib injury. 3
10 VFL Kicked two goals, but also missed some gettable shots. Took 10 marks – three contested.

16   Back from a few weeks off and booted three goals. Was imposing at stages.  
17 VFL Presented well inside 50 and on the wings. One of Dogs' best with 18 touches.
18 VFL Made a strong influence in the forward line and up the ground.
19 Ess First game back for some time. Kicked a ripping goal in second term off right boot. Five effective disposals for the game. 3
20 Bris Worked hard across half forward and complemented Redpath and Bontempelli and finished with a goal and three scoring assists. 5
21 GWS Snap goal in second term and spent time in the ruck. Battled hard but limited disposals. 3
22 Port Two goals in the first half – both from ground balls. Aside from that and a good tackle late, not a big factor. 4

2016 Season

Played for : Collingwood

1 Syd Took up where he left off with pre-season form. Thrown into ruck at half time to try to get first touch. 1
2 Rich Kicked a right-foot snap goal for first time in his 235-game career. Just going. 3
3 StK Started well but then struggled and was thrown into the ruck for long periods. Six disposals after half time. 4
4 Melb Two goals and nine disposals in first half then injured arm early in final term and played on hampered. 5
5 VFL Kicked two goals but was unsighted for the most part against Grima.
6 VFL Found a lot more of the ball pushing up high to the wings. Kicked 1.3.
7   Back.  
8 VFL Better in certain aspects but goalkicking was again a debacle.
9 VFL Bounced back to some form with four goals in close win. Needs to back it up now.
10 VFL Bye.
11 Port By far from the Pies worst but wasn’t helped by supply. Goalless but deserves another go. 4
12 VFL Competed strongly in attack and kicked two goals on a horrible day for forwards.
13 VFL Bye.
14 Frem Kicked opening goal and worked very hard in conditions that didn’t suit him. 5
15 Carl Clunked a couple but struggled to make a significant impact in attack. 5
16 GWS Worked really hard coming up the field and did everything required with four goals. 8
17 Adel Two goals from limited opportunities, well held by Talia and Hartigan. 5
18 NM Battled to get into game against Tarrant. 3
19 WCE Took a few early marks but struggled to carry the load when Moore went off injured. 4
20 Rich One goal from tight angle and took six marks but never a huge factor. 4
21 VFL Great response to stiff AFL axing with five match-winning goals.
22 VFL Booted four goals and was a handful all day. Will be important in VFL finals.
23 Haw Two goals and one towering mark but missed a couple of gettable shots. 4

2015 Season

1 Bris Gave Clarke a touch-up. Excelled in front of goal and further afield. 6
2 Adel Found Talia a hard nut to crack. Tough day at the office. Only one goal. 3
3 StK This year’s kicking style didn’t improve accuracy. Late goals flattered scoreline. 6
4 Ess Two goals but Hooker had better of the match-up. Work-rate was good. 5
5 Carl Rowe wore him like a glove. Kept presenting but kicking for goal terrible. 4
6 Geel Usual combination of shanks at crucial moments and bomb goals. 4
7 Rich Three goals in a great battle with Rance after quarter time. Ten marks. 7
8 GCS Played higher up the ground and booted a late goal. 6
9 NM Just the one goal but contested strongly to bring ball to ground. 5
10 Melb Had four goals 25 minutes into first term and ended with seven. Huge. 9
11 GWS Ended with five goals but four game in final term opposed to smaller Haynes. 7
13 Frem No goals from six marks and 12 kicks playing high at times. 4
14 Haw On top of Lake in general but kicking wayward with 1.4. 5
15 Port No shots at goal, well beaten by Hombsch on tricky night for big forwards. 4
16 WCE Off with a calf in first 15 minutes and didn’t return. 0

1 Frem Well beaten by McPharlin and had his quietest game for some time – four kicks, no goals. 2
2 Syd Two goals and was a presence but otherwise well held by Richards. 6
3 Geel Three effective disposals, no shots at goal with Lonergan draped all over him. 2
4 Rich Held goalless again, this time by Astbury. Confidence at a low ebb. 2
5 NM Ball came in so much early he had no choice but to find form. Four goals. 6
6 Ess First possession came 20 min into second term. Thrashed by Hooker. 1
7 Carl Strength always posed a threat in attack. 5
9 Adel Dropped sitter early and that set the tone. Only goal 25 min into third term. 3
10 WCE Struggles continue. Only goal came at 27-minute mark of final term. 2
11 StK Work rate unquestioned early but only one goal to half time. Added four. 8
12 Melb Two goals and seven marks a good reward given his workrate was huge. 6
13 WB Superb. Kicked six goals and stood up under pressure at the end. 9
14 Haw Best forward on the ground. Finished with five goals. 8
15 Carl Held to a goal by Jamison but came up the ground to take nine marks. 5
16 GCS Mental demons got him kicking for goal yet again. Proved costly. 6
17 Ess Hooker minded him and delivery was dry. Bronx cheers in last quarter. 2
18 Adel Huge battle with Talia. Did well to end with three goals and never gave up. 6
19 Port Great battle with Carlile. Ended with three goals from 10 marks to be a factor. 7
20 WCE Mackenzie wore him cheap suit style. Seven marks and one goal a quiet day. 4
21 Bris Looked threatening but injured ankle in second term and did not return. 2

1 NM On Thompson, marked strongly and kicked well early. Good return of four goals. 7
2 Carl Conditions and lack of a foil didn’t aid his cause but always gave a contest. 4
3 Haw Dangerous inside forward 50 opposed to Schoenmakers. Powerful display. 8
4 Rich Monstered Rance. Took six contested marks (14 in total) and kicked seven goals. 9
5 Ess Seemed nervous throughout, dropping marks he would normally swallow. 4
6 StK Radar off (4.5) but kicked three of his four in final term. 7
7 Frem Left his kicking boots in Melbourne with 0.4. Team was bypassing him by the end. 3
8 Geel Well held by Lonergan – 13 marks a misleading in terms of impact 6
9 Syd Led well early and looked very sharp, although missed usual quota of set shots. 6

11 Melb Kicked three goals and grabbed nine marks in a great battle against Garland. 6
12 WB Too strong and outmanoeuvred Roughead constantly. Bagged five goals. 8
14 Port Tried hard all game, kicked two goals but always up against two players. 5
15 Carl Four goals in first half set the side up. Enjoyed Reid’s presence. 8
16 Adel Talia had good battle with him. Kicked poorly for goal until late in the game. 6
17 GCS Had the yips, got at least two soft free kicks, only two goals were from the square. 4
18 GWS Kicked three goals but didn’t have things all his own way up front. 6
19 Ess Outmuscled Carlisle for his first goal and ended with five in stout effort. 7
20 Syd Kicked two goals but wayward and otherwise well held by Richards. 4
21 Haw Good early when the Pies were under the pump. Three goals was a decent return. 6
22 WCE Kicked three in best battle of game against dogged Mackenzie – 10 marks. 7
23 NM Looked a Coleman chance with four first-half goals. Added one more. 7
EF Port Held to two goals by Carlile and unable to impact the game aerially as he’d like. 4

1 Haw Kicking accuracy woeful and that hurt his overall influence. Kicked 2.3. 6
2 Rich Kicked lovely goal then had attention to shoulder injury. Finished strongly. 7
3 Carl Uncharacteristically butter fingered. Rarely in the game. 2
4 Port Played in spurts but did end with four goals, eight inside 50s, nine marks. 8
5 Ess Two of three goals in second term but quiet later – only 12 disposals. 6
6 WB Lake outplayed and out-psyched him but had an impact in last 40 minutes. 4
7 Bris Started with a bang but then admirably held by Maguire. 5
8 Geel Presented often and battled strongly. May need to do homework on Taylor. 5
9 Adel Disappointing display by the power forward, thoroughly out of sorts. 2
10 GCS Inaccuracy again cost him from kicking a bag (3.4) but best game for a month. 6
11 Melb Great battle with Frawley. Kicked two goals including a beauty in final term. 5
13 WCE Must be about to sign that contract as five goals signalled a return to form. 8
14 Frem Two goals but only two marks then subbed off. Beaten by McPharlin. 3
15 Carl Battled against Jamison and struggled. Delivery not great, mind you. 5
16 Geel Lonergan kept him to equal lowest tally of marks (one) in seven years. 2
17 Haw Hammered by Schoenmakers. Should sign that contract before it’s withdrawn. 2
18 GWS Relished the young GWS backline after half time: six goals, 11 marks. 8
19 StK Back to reality. Three marks and one goal in another underwhelming effort. 3
20 Syd Finished with 3.2, including a pivotal goal four minutes from full time. 5
21 NM Awful, although delivery woeful. Wasted three golden opportunities. 3
22 WCE Mostly terrible. Delivery haphazard but dropped marks and didn’t score. 3
23 Ess Career-best 20 marks as he pole-axed young Bomber defenders. 9
QF Haw Broke away from Schoenmakers in third term and finished with six goals. 8
SF WCE Only five marks and no goals, but fought hard with limited opportunities. 3
