4 StK Reasonable game but unsighted for long periods and only 13 possessions. 4
5 Ess Forced to play tight on McDonald-Tipungwuti early. Did some fine work but faded in the second half. 6
6 Geel Former Cat was causing some havoc until his hamstring went late in the third term; 14 disposals and rebound good. 5

8 Bris Spoiled a brilliantly sharked goal with a blundered kick in defence which resulted in a Lions goal. 5
9 Geel Tackling was a feature of his game. Four inside-50s and 10 kicks. 5
10 WB Intermittently involved, and what he did was top quality. 5
11 Port In and out of the game but didn’t have any real impact. 4
12 Melb Looked dangerous across half forward when service was there. Faded as game wore on. 5
14 Frem Only a sporadic input as the defensive half forward as ball rarely fell his way. 3
15 Carl Provided a point a difference with his run and desperation. Important early. 6
16 GWS Booted opening goals and tackled strongly. Pace troubled Giants defence. 4
17 Adel Started strongly at half forward but disappeared out of the contest. 4
18 NM Very quiet first half but one of catalysts in third term resurgence when moved back. 5
19 WCE Ten of his 14 possessions were contested. Didn’t provide as much outside burst though. 5
20 Rich Nipped in for a goal and cleaned up T. Hunt. Just teases without satisfying. 4
21 WB Forward on Johanissen for a time early. Tackled hard but not a big factor. 5
22 GCS Provided drive from half back with 28 touches and linked well going forward. 7
23 Haw Didn’t win enough ball to hurt Hawks; did a lot of running trailing behind an opponent. 3

2015 Season

1 Bris Showed flair with new club. Missing targets at times is still evident. 6
2 Adel Not much from the former Cat. Failed to provide run and carry. 4
3 StK Did as he liked most of the time and revelled in freedom. 7
4 Ess Best game for the club so far. Ran hard to be an option at half forward. 7
5 Carl Struggled to get into the swing of the game as a permanent forward. 3
6 Geel A bobber upperer. 3
7 Rich Couple of brilliant passages but in the end didn’t win enough ball. 4
8 GCS Torched the Suns, mopping up across half back and wing with 100% efficiency. 8
9 NM Not overly noticeable despite 17 touches. 4
10 Melb Just doesn’t get enough of the ball to do any damage. Cheapies in defence. 3
11 GWS Clearly his best game in black and white. Creative and played with intent. 7
13 Frem Given job on Ballantyne and excelled. Kept him to one goal and five kicks. 8
14 Haw Matched with Rioli at start, but the Hawk got away. Better after moved. 5

21 Rich Frustrated, gave away three 50-metre penalties and it wasn’t his day. 3
22 Geel Relished playing against old side to end with a goal and 16 damaging disposals. 5
23 Ess Quiet until final term when lifted with some solid tackling. Good year. 6

4 WCE Only four kicks but laid six tackles. Still looking for a four-quarter game. 5
5 Haw One goal but quiet first half. Still flitting in and out of games. 4
6 Port Work-rate good but execution and skills not enough to hurt the Power. 3
7 Rich Dangerous at times but still well short of his best. Needs to find more footy. 3
9 Frem One goal but quiet up forward. Better when thrown back later in game. 4
10 NM Dash off half back a feature early in game and used ball well. 6
11 Syd Used down back but doesn’t win enough ball to hurt the Swans. 3
12 VFL A bit scrappy by foot, but encouraging display after a tough week.
13 StK Quiet first half then lifted to grab 12 second-half possessions. Can get better. 5
14 GCS Great pressure in patches but found out a little in the back half. 5
15 Ess Used predominantly at half back and OK in that role without starring. 5

17 Melb Used footy well from the back half and got into some good defensive spots. 6
18 GWS Great in bursts but in the end not a huge influence. OK defensively on his man. 6
19 NM Defensively OK but numbers well down. 4
20 Frem Used defensively again but offered little run. Did lay a couple of key tackles. 3
21 Carl Quiet. Only three kicks and one inside-50 not enough for a player of his talent. 2

23 Bris Slotted brilliant goal and busy with six tackles and three inside-50s. 6
QF Haw Played best first half of year (15 disp) then only four thereafter. Tried hard. 5

19 NM Laid six tackles but appears miles away from his best. 3
20 Port Seven tackles but didn’t find enough footy to be a factor offensively. 4
21 WCE Found some ball, which would have pleased coach. Looked as sharp as he has. 6
22 Syd Looked sharp. Five tackles, kicked a goal and linked well through the middle. 6
23 Bris Made some darting runs and ended with two goals. Form trending right way. 6
QF Frem One of few bright spots for Cats. Ran hard but at time lacked usual polish. 6
SF Port Won enough footy but butchered it too often to really hurt the Power. Must lift. 5
PF Haw Had chance to tie game in final 30 secs but missed easy shot. Mirrored season really. 3
