2016 Digest:   Knee injury sidelined him after Round 9 and with just three senior games for the season he was then delisted but was redrafted as a rookie. He can be a good ball-winner at his best and Essendon thought it was worth throwing him a lifeline.

2016 NAB Cup:   Form good in intra-club, but hasn’t shown in NAB Challenge. Good last week at VFL level.

2016 Season

1		Played in VFL trial against Footscray.
2		Played in VFL trial against Richmond.
3	VFL	Played midfield inside midfield and like always applied himself to the task.	–
4	VFL	Rated best afield with a clean 21-disposal performance in the middle.	–
5	VFL	Early goal but copped big hit and shoulder injury hampered him for remainder.	–
6		Shoulder.
7	VFL	Comeback from shoulder surgery netted 28 disposals. Huge positive.	–
8	VFL	Team-high six inside-50s and four tackles. Won plenty of the ball all day.	–
9	VFL	Team-high 35 touches, five clearances and five tackles to be a key performer.	–
10	VFL	Worked very hard in front half and midfield. Tackling and pressure a highlight.	–
11	Frem	Kicked a goal in the final term. But it was all over by then.	3

13	GWS	Youngster did some good things in what was a great experience. Deserves another crack.	4
15	WCE	Quiet. Couldn’t get into the game.	2
16	StK	Goaled from a terrible lack of attention from Saints. Was a handy contributor.	5
17	Rich	Defensive work in front half was strong at times and kicked a good goal. A blue-collar trier.	5
18	Bris	Kicked an early goal and worked hard at half forward without really starring.	5
19	Adel	Failed to make the distance with a set shot in the third term.	5

21	VFL	Laid six tackles and worked hard but ball didn’t fall his way enough. Four inside-50s.	–
